I'm putting the long positions in Black and the shorts in red. I'm hoping that by knowing what stocks we own in our trading ports other members will be able to see what each of us are doing and question each other on why we own them and what we are looking for out of the trade. I know the bottom line is that we are all looking for fiscal gains but hopefully this will open us up to more dialogue on why we own these stocks. Here is the initial list which I will keep updated as each of us adds or exits positions. All you have to do is tell me of the move.

      skiracer,
what's your opinion on URZ, does it look like it could be a double bottom?
up 3.5 % in after hours.
      Company has a future besides.

        I don't see a double bottom pattern???

It's not a double bottom yet. It might form one but that is like guessing weights and ages. I'm not a gypsy and can't do that. I deal in reality and only trade what I see and not what I think. That is an axiom that you should learn to value and consider in developing your own strategys. I enjoy you and Stky's posts and youthful exhuberance. I gambled with the best minds in the country at one time or another and when I want to gamble I go to Atlantic City or Vegas. I don't gamble with the stocks. I love to give my opinion and hopefully my honesty and forthrightness won't disuade you from asking my opinion in the future. At least you'll get an honest opinion and sometimes the truth isn't what people like to hear or see. But I only deal in what I see and my honest opinion. I see that it was up .06 on 72000 shares in the afterhours on Friday. I don't know who bought that and could care less. They might be someone who is wishing in one hand and shitting in the other to see which one fills up first. You cannot base any type of decision on that afterhours purchase. Anyway I love the fact that you teenagers are so actively involved in the stock markets. Here's the daily chart and the insider selling list from MSN Money. Have you ever noticed how the officers and other insiders always seem to buy at the lowest point and then by some coincidence sell at the highest point. I also just noticed that I didn't arrange the paragraphs on the chart in the correctt sequential order. When you go to read it please take a moment to read it in the order that I meant it. Read the top two paragraphs first and then the bottom two from left to right . Sorry about that.

No problemo. I saw that in your post and wasn't sure what to do with it. I included it but will delete it from the sheet. Sorry I haven't had the time to comment on any of this yet. But thanks for participating Runner and hopefully this will present some opportunity for some good dialogue on our plays.

29th wedding anniversary today and the wifey and I are spending this weekend daytripping and doing some antique hunting up along the Delaware River on the Jersey and Pennsylvania sides by the Delaware Water Gap. Anyone hear heard of "Hot Dog Johhny's" along the Delaware River on Rt. 46. Getting ready to leave the house right now for up there.

                        Runner,
Sorry about the mistakes with your positions. It was late and my wife and I had been out all day and had a late dinner. You know the drill I'm sure. I tried to do that sheet last night after we got home and after a bottle of wine. I'll take care of the mistakes.
I kind of want this to be a give and take about what drives us to make these trades rather than how well they are doing. The one reason I asked for the entry points was to get a better understanding of part of the reasoning behind making the play. Thanks again for participating.

Ski, no problem as we need not sweat the small stuff right? Hey congrats on your wedding anniversary.

Should anyone care about my mindset on one of my trades just pm me in case I forget to look over the thread as I'm sure this thread will pick up even more so then it is now.

I wasn't telling you not to make the trade if you want to. Only what my feelings are on the stock at this moment. The last thing I want is to turn you off on what you are dead set against or to lead you away from asking me my opinion. This is another reason for learning as much as you can on both the technical and fundamental sides of trading stocks.
Patience on the other hand is so important and so hard to learn and use. There are going to be times for sure where you will miss a play for whatever reasons. It's at those moments that you have to be at your best and excerise that patience and the realization that tomorrow will bring hundreds, perhaps thousands, of other plays or setups that you could make. Waiting and watching to see which way the wind is going to blow is the wise decision.
If you miss the first opportunity in a stocks move there will always be others. A secondary move from say 1.90 to 2.10 is the same .20 as the first move from 1.69 to 1.90 or from 15 to 17 and from 18 to 20. They are all the same 2 point moves. Think about it.

                              runner,
what was your reasoning behind getting into blud?
Looking very good and I may buy. Hwo do you expect the stock to behave in the next few days?
also are you mainly fundamental or technical?

BLUD had one of my favate set ups. It broke out of a base and pulled back. Here is a chart with current plan on it.
I would not buy it here

Sorry for the text looking all bunched up. I had to make the chart smaller and forgot to move the text.
