      Ski

I know how you feel because I'm just as disgusted with the current state of our country. I'm also one of the law-abiding citizen who is seeing my hard earned cash being taxed by the government and provide aid to those that are not eligible to receive aid. I could go on and on but you get the point.

wait and see what this bill does to the small businessman. it is going to place much more fiscal pressure on an already exasperating situation. not to mention the mandates on the general public to acquire health insurance. what about the unemployment numbers and available jobs in general. where is the money going to come from. and if you think that insurance rates are going to come down because of this bill your barking up the wrong tree. and who is going to pay for huge number of existing entitlement and the 32 million new people without healthcare and without the money to pay their own way that are now going to become insured. did you listen to what the company, Catapillar, had to say about this plan and what it is going to cost and do to them. this is the beginning of the end to our American way of life as we used to know it. the liberal left political ideology has ruined this country and as far as i'm concerned they can have it. one morning they are going to wake up and look around and the people with the brains, initiative, and their money are going to be gone and then there will be no one left to finance their BS except people who are still clutching to the hope in your statement billy.

          no no please don't go

There is no other country where you can run and hide, Ski. Believe it or not, THIS COUNTRY is the free-est in the entire world. This country presents the best opportunities for the individual and individuality. Maybe you should try China. Maybe you should try another free country. You'd probably do just fine anywhere. But, maybe you'd just be learning the hard way what you've given up if you leave.

Please stop listening to the radical right and their wild false statements. I never thought you would be scared by the crazy things they say. It's not a perfect government, but it sure is a relief to get rid of the last one. Never trust a politician, but never trust a dictator either. Now that you've let off some steam, please calm down, and please stay.

            [B]river,
dont think for one minute that these are the rants of an out of control individual. if you have the cash there are plenty of places in the world where you can go and with the internet as a communication device there is no limit to what one can do. if meaning that you stand for the american way of life as we know and want it to be, capitalism, opposing more govt interference and regulation of your life, stopping the entitlement lifestyle, kicking anyone and everyone who is here illegally out of the country, if you live and profit here use the english language, then i am definitely part of the radical right. this is not about letting off steam. i could not be more serious in my beliefs that this bozo that somehow got himself elected to the presidency, his administration, and the democratically controlled congress are dedicated to changing our system, levelling off the gap between those who work hard to build a life and accumulate money and subtly taking what they have and redistributing it across the board to the entitlement programs and those living off of them. they insult your intelligence with their BS and expect you to believe in what they say. this health insurance bill is just the beginning of the new wave of entitlement and govt intervention into our lives and the BS that goes along with their trying to make you believe that what they are doing is for your best interests. when i step in shit i dont have to reach down and take a mouthful to make sure it's shit. i'll be making my preparations to take what i have while i still have it and the value in it and be on my way. you can take that to the bank./B]

The future is not yet determined, and the current system is not in harmony. The imbalance will guide our future like a row boat with one oar. How can anyone claim a "bipartisan" bill when one side of the aisle had zero representation in votes of support?

I recognize some of the influential authors/thinkers in what you are saying, ski. Have you read Huxley, yet? You might want to ingest a half a gramme of Soma and the Brave New World.

I would advise you to stay away from it. my outlook appears bleak right now.
Thanks Ski, that's perfect. When Investools give a projected price, there's no time frame. They say at some point in time, the stock price and the projected price will cross but, who know when that will be. I will keep clear and find a new one.

I repeat, try China with its total control of internet access and content. Europe is much more open, but definitely dedicated to social programs and very high taxes. Let's see, Brazil. Now that's a possibility. You will probably love the Girl from Iponema. Or John of God (look him up, he is a favorite of my first husband's). Start a business there. Perish financially. Australia...yes! If you can learn to exist under the British system. Ditto Canada (also with very high taxes. Why do you think I don't live there? Also, Mrs. Ski will just love the restrictive rules against wives doing anything business-wise without their husband's permission). Let's see...California is the absolute best possibility. But oops, that's in the US. And do you really want to live with that kind of political turmoil? Good old NJ is looking better and better, no? Well, maybe not in comparison with good old California.

And then, there are Italy, Spain, Greece, Russia. Take your pick. Or Africa. Or Iceland, nearly bankrupt. Or Ireland, ditto. Or England, bloody England. Or Scotland, England-subjugated. Let's see, I've forgotten Antartica. No-country's-land actually. You would like it there, I think. Lots of penguins, seals and whales. You could have a business...let's see...building hostels for the mammals and birds.

You live in the free-est country on earth, Ski. It ain't worth moving. You have it as good here as you are ever going to have it.

With all my love and affection. River

Unless you're thinking of starting a new business in Columbia. In that case, I have no comment whatsoever.

I appreciate your concern and comments river. but believe me, i have enough money and friends all over the world that would be more than happy to accomodate me in whatever endeavors i choose, especially in Colombia. Lisa will do what i want to do regardless of whatever direction that may be or she can take her half and go in whatever direction she wants to go. One thing for certain, i'll be doing whatever it is that suits me. it's a terrible thing to state but i have lost faith and confidence in this administration, our political leaders, and their decision making process in general. they have crossed the line with me. i'm of the mindset that i'm taking whatever i bring to the table and getting out early before they can get their hands on anymore of what i have. it's a big world and everyone is only limited by their own imaginations.

Gotta say...kinda with you on this Billy Joe. I ain't saying I'm thrilled with the administration at all...and I voted for the guy. I won't next time I don't think...I'll just be staying home.

I had my bestest trading day a couple of months ago & O' got on & started talking about the new new bank regs....he single handedly tanked the market that day & really pissed me off. I lost a buttload(relative) that day/week. I'm still pissed at him for that. STFU please.

...but back to to your quote. Life will go on & then the next guy will come in & do his verson of screwing it all up.

                              Back to knitting.

I bought some SYNM today, not the best looking chart but I feel I can get 15% profit fairly easy. Any news regarding their new factory could bring this baby over $2.5 fairly quick.
