by that I mean the number of readily available shares is in short supply...at least until the shorts have bailed or been squeezed out en masse. The huge amount of insider selling and institutional selling is apparently meaningless.

I felt that it was struggling to keep these levels and it wasn't able to break through that 39.31 HOD. I was struggling with the decision as to exit or not. The bird in the hand won out. I also felt that a short supply of shares available right now could help to drive the price up. In the pre-market this morning I saw the price jump 1.80 and I thought for a second that it was going to be one of those days where it gapped past Fridays closing price and my gains would have evaporated in one fell swoop. I didn't have a physical stop in place and I think the gap up might have jumped my stop if I had one in place. I'm glad that luckily I realized it was better to take the gain on this one while I had it. As I'm writing this it is trading at 68.04. You just have to be happy that it turned out the way it did for you and be happy with what you got.

The other short play in ACOR is playing out nicely today to the downside.

Today was a decent day for both short plays. I exited the FMD short at 68.35 for a 1.65 gain. ACOR is still open and is now up 1.32. Both shorts played out well. On the other hand LIOX stopped out today at 7.12 for a .54 loss. MED is down to 9.47 and very close to my 7% loss point which is at 9.39. MED going to be one of those plays where I give it a little more, but not much, room to do what I expect from it. Right now down very close to my stop loss point. ELN also not living up to expectations right now. This might have been the wrong play so close to earnings. They get very volitaile right near earnings. 14.67 is my stop loss point with ELN. ECOL will be alright and I think it has kind of exhausted the selling off right here. Position is still in the green. Here's todays list.

And the daily portfolio sheet for today. I've added another column for the exits. I'm just going to carry the exits until Sunday nite and will then delete that column to start the week anew.

                  DMK,
I can't wish you luck with this one bud. I still like it to the short side alot. I think this one could fall out of bed yet. Would you please throw up a daily or weekly chart and explain what you like about taking it long right here. I've got 1.32 gain in it since I made the short trade. I'm placing a physical stop on it in the morning somewhere around 16.65/16.70 range to protect what I have. I'm short from 17.70.

I'm adding GIGM to the list. I like it over 10.75/11 levels.

I am interested to see what you like here too dmk...Every indicator I looked at indicates it is turning down on both daily and weekly charts...Doesn't mean it won't make an about face but I'd wait till (if) it does...Best, IIC

I sold UCTT at $13 even

I do not hold TSRA- that was just for the POTW last week, so you can take it off, if you want
