    Doug,
What did you pay in college for a six pack? We got some Great Lakes Brew for 99 cents / 6 at Bowling Green.

They want me to go to China with them this year to meet all their relatives and to see what we can bring back here to sell. Apparently they have relatives in everything over there and I have money and know the ropes here. They want to start an import business here with me and have all the connections in place over there. So sometime after this summer we're going to China for a month to see what's worthwhile bringing back to market here.
I've been to Shanghai and enjoyed the bargains, but I have to warn you. There are a lot of problems with red tape, when it comes to importing.

My Brother and I were going to try importing Gemstone Globes a few years back. We could buy them all day long from a local dealer in Shanghai, for around $35 each and sell them over here for around $75-100. We actually broght some back as luggage to test market and had succes selling them.

Then, one day, I went in Walmart. There they were... The same gemstone globes, on sale for $45. I hate Walmart!

You may have better luck than we did though. I hope you enjoy China. Here's a word of advice. China smells real bad. Take a large bottle of Febreze to spray everything with. I wore the same pair of jeans for 5 days and just sprayed them. No one knew the difference! Hehehe...

Hanley's...$.79 a six pack...but it was YUCKO!!!...So was Grain Belt beer..Bud was $1.10 back then I believe. In Nebraska they didn't sell beer at the markets(grocery store)...Also, it was cheaper if you bot it warm...Fine in the Winter...Put it outside for about 3 mins in the winter and it would almost freeze up.

We used to buy a 16 gal keg...Throw a party and the guys paid a buck to get in...girls free...Pretty good...We all got drunk and had enough to pay the Gas Bill which was more than our rent in the winter...I lived in an old 2 story house w/ a full basement...6 bedrooms...6 guys...I took the basement 'cause it had a side door to the outside halfway up the stairs....IIC
