<< How do you feel as to which way it could trend? >>

A lot depends on the volume on the way back up. If GOOG just drifts higher, the volitility will get sucked out of the calls and they could go down in value even as the stock goes up. Or GOOG could rise a few more points and then retest the lows, which would also drain the value of the calls.

      Greetings,

From what I understand,a very negative article came out in Barrons this weekend concerning GOOG.I dont read Barrons, but the last bash article I know of from them personally was the piece they did on EENC,took it from low 20s to 16 in a week, and still hasnt recovered.Could be rough week, anyone with some trade ideas?

      cordially Tom

Forget covered calls: puts! If they had $400 puts that they bought the first time GooG stumbled...they'd be fat cats indeed!

Buy GOOG, sell Feb covered calls

Im just curious if you ever do this .... ie buy goog at $347 and sell Feb $350 for $6.30 which expire in 3 days . I havent done this but idea always intrigues me.

                            Calls

Stock may get taken but doing it for guarantee income....unless GOOG tanks more

Calls. You will be assigned the call, assuming GOOG closes above 350. Assume it closes at 350. Your "cost" is 340.70. You hope it gets called away because that gives you a 2.7% profit in 3 days! If it closes below 350 you keep the cash.
