  • I thought I was stinking up the joint this year, but I sat down and calculated my returns. YTD, BJ: +2.3%, SP500: -1.4%, SP600: +2.6%, NAZ: -4.9%.

Actually not thrilled with my return - I could be doing a lot better - but it does encourage me to see that things aren't as bad as I envision...

    • Starting to nibble back into ERS. It's done a good job supporting 8 IMO.

      • ERS back above 9 DMA... let's see if it stays there.

VPHM rocking again (so far). Looks like Dru will be the winner this week (which is fine with me ).

        Probably sold ABLE too early.

Rock on VPHM! If it keeps going up, I'll have to rent a U-Haul to carry my money in!

          • 24 or 48 footer, Webs?

Anyone else disppointed in the volume in today's huge market gains? SPX volume actually retracted.

            • Bought some IPII this morning. Gapped open, and caught at 20.73 (really slid quickly), so I just nibbled a partial, and will wait for the rest, or just let what I have ride.

              • In the early going, ERS and VPHM both have hit identical highs of 9.70. I'd love to see a race for ten between these two.

                • Evening star for VPHM unfolding? Gapping up, trading in small range today. I'm watching.

                  • Trimmed (1/2) VPHM after picking up 33%. I'm not liking the reversal, but doubt that it's completely done. If it corrects (and one would think it needs to), I'll grab in at the reduced price.

NAZ going for the high! Who thinks we will get a new high this week, the 2100 level has been broken and we can have a nice rally here... hope fully... Interesting action on PARL today, looks like a false b/o

good call on locking in those gains, put a t-stop on it and let it ride.

                        • Gotta say, the NAZ is looking very impressive... two higher volume increases in a row. Like to see the SPX join the party, though (its two increases have been lower volume).

Haven't been too interested in PARL. For a while, its run has seemed a little long in the tooth. I've been wrong on those plenty of times though

I got home late today and didn't get to catch the market close or I might have sold some of my VPHM. I'll may sell tomorrow if it looks weak.

                            • This is my plan, Webs: I'll track VPHM for the first 20 minutes. If, after 20 minutes, it's down, I'll probably close the remainder (because it will be a confirmation of the reversal), and wait for a return to the 7-8 range.

This will be a good test of the Americanbulls.com website, which shows a "hold" on VPHM. I don't have much faith in their analysis. I got in at $6.60 so I have room to play with. I'm going to try to get home before the market closes tomorrow and see what happens. If a reversal is confirmed, I may take my profit and run.

Our system posted a HOLD today. The previous BUY recommendation that was confirmed was made on 07.07.2005 (4) days ago, when the stock price was 7.8000. Since then VPHM has gained 16.92% .

Our advice is simple and clear. Hold your stocks and wait until the next signal.

Don’t bother yourself with further buying or selling as long as the HOLD tag stays.
