I once speared a 10.9lb grouper..... took me about 4 dives without a tank at 25 ft deep because the punk kept going from one cave like reef to another abut 15 feet away. I got him though... very tasty and was enough for a party of four that night.Originally posted by WebsmanI'll have to post a pic of the next big Grouper I catch...or Mullet.

If we get together in Atlantic City this summer I'll show you a great time weakfishing off the Barnegat inlet or Manasquan inlet rocks or in waders in the back bay behind the Barnegat inlet at night when the moon is shining off the water and you're standing in about 3' of water and you hook into one about 24/28 inches. That's hard to beat.Originally posted by mrmarketI enjoy fishing but don't get to go as much as I would like. Want to take me?THE SKIRACER'S EDGE: MAKE THE EDGE IN YOUR FAVOR

Where do you live Adam? If we get together in AC we could do that. It sounds great. I'm right in Toms River. Are you from the area originally or a transplant?Originally posted by AdamSki,

Hey Bro, where do you go Crappie fishing? Kerr Dam? Why would anyone think of releasing crappie? There is enough of them for everyone. I used to love fishing the Suffolk water supply lakes. There are some very large shellcracker and decent bass fishing. Have you ever hit that lake in VA with the Florida strain Largemouth? I forget what it is called.Sure thing dude.... gonna be near VA in May? I know some awesome crappie holes.... Or we could meet Websman down in Flordia, I wanna catch some Mullet and fry em up!

I have cousins out here in WA state that are into Steelhead fishing. That reminds me to give them a call this weekend.

Check this out. The largest salmonid in the World. It can grow to over 6 feet and 200 lbs. It eats small mammals that enter the water and is only found in fast moving rivers.
