Excellent Mary. I have one with my sister just like that. I have to dig it out.

      Peanuts,
I go every Wednesday or Thursday to Hunter or Windham in NY. We must ski together this season or take a long weekend and hook up to go to Vermont. Somewhere like Stratton is great skiing and better "apres ski". Not quite as good or as big as Heavenly but great skiing. Steep and somewhat narrow spruce and fir lined runs. Lots of times it will snow while we're up there and we ski in fresh powder although not as dry and as light as out west. You must ski well to be skiing that area.

He musta got his looks from his mother, eh? As my old neighbor Grace would say...Ain't he cunnin'!

The last time I was on Kerr, we were trolling along for stripers and we (my dad and I) both fell asleep. A loud horn from a passing boat finally woke us before we crashed into an island. Probably wouldn't have wrecked the boat since we were at trolling speed, but Boy that was embarrassing.

I love the red maples the best for their blazing red leaves in the fall. We have several nice ones on our property but the surrounding woods are full of them. It makes for really great walks and photos.
Nice work. Boy do the digital cameras take alot of the work out of photography.

I liked the maples too...that is the kind of color I was hoping to see when I went to Cape Cod a few weeks ago.

As I mentioned, the free digital camera Altria sent me is a piece of junk...So I put the word out...Somebody will get me a decent one for Christmas...And then you'll get to see photos of me everyday...Maybe I'll start a Pic of the Day thread...Doug

Doug I paid about 609.00 for my canon. Do not buy from the Internet from anyone offering a good deal. Most are rip offs. I do buy my lenses from B&H photo. They are a company out of NY and they do have a e-commerce site. I never had a problem from them.

Thx Runner...However, I don't intend to buy one myself...I'm pretty sure that someone will get me one that is better than I really need though.

Also, my Christmas list includes a 21 inch or 24 inch monitor...I'm tired of 19".

Here are the 2 I was thinking about:

This actually is the one I really want...but then I'd have to buy a new computer desk...it is a 30 inch monitor...Anyway, I'm not so sure that too many people plan on spending this much on my Christmas present though.

OK here's my entry for the week. This picture was taken two weeks ago at a family reunion in Eastern NC on my family's farm. My first cousin Matt and me were giving "the boys" wheel barrow rides (Matt's about my age and size).... Matt just tripped and fell over backwards and spilled a glass of tea all over himself just as my wife snapped this photo.SsSsSsssss! That's his son in the #24 shirt.... you had to be there I guess.jejeje

                            BEEF!... it's whats for dinner!
