I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Here's a story for you.
My uncle was one of the biggest and sharpest sports line makers and books on the east coast and moved action on everything from horses to any sporting event across the country from some of the biggest sports betters and books in the country. From the time I was around 12 until I was 19 and went into the army I would sit in the office with him every night after school and take the action on the games over the phones and help him keep his records. In all those years I never seen him make a bet on anything while he was alive but he was the best at moving his line with his customers to get the best edge for himself. For as long as he was alive he would never let me make a bet an always pounded it into me that the only way to make money in gambling was to be on the side taking the action, earning the vig, and not betting. For all the years I spent by his side it still took me 30 years to learn and fully understand that concept. Whenever a game ended this way I can remember him always saying to me, Eddie, you let them (atheletes) play with someone else's money. He always thought they were all betting.
I played college football and never knew of anyone who knew of anyone who was involved in fixing a game.

I never did either an it was just his nature to be suspicious of everyone. I wasn't implying that games were fixed but just relating a story about a guy who was pretty heavily involved in all of it and just the way he felt. Although there have been a number of cases over the years where it did come out that people were betting and fixing games, mostly baskets, on the college level. There were also many times when one particular game would get really loaded up on one side for no apparent reason without any report of injuries or someone becoming sick at the last minute and that always looked fishy. One thing that I believe for sure is that alot of the pro guys have bet on games either on themselves or on the other side.
man what a game huskers came to play it was pretty sweet. althought the officials sucked. huskers have some players. congrats to the exes condolences to any punters with quid on the barrel
That was a good game. My school, Rutgers, finally made it to a bowlgame in 27 years and blew it in the 2nd half. Can't wait for the USC vs. Texas game.

The Husker QB, Zach Taylor, must be made of rubber. The beatings he's taken all year and he always bounces back. Maybe they should go back to running the option so they can protect the guy. hehehehe
