    Mr. Market,
Is Penn State legit or are they Notre Dame 2 ? They beat Ohio State and overshadowed OSU's great defense, but that was months ago in Happy Valley . I doubt they could repeat . They lost to Michigan, go figure. We may find out the truth tonight if Florida State proves a worthy opponent. Couldn't they find a higher ranked team for Penn State to face? Got to go start the popcorn.

There goes the stock profits. I'm with you on Penn. State, but the way I've been going that's an automatic win for Florida State.

I've played a pick or two on Tradesports this year and I'm down a little. My Dawgs got shocked by WVU speed. I always bet against my team, so there's a silver lining if they lose . 15 bucks just didn't make me feel that much better.

I kept my moaning about Georgia having to play WV to myself, thinking that #3 Penn State got the raw deal with FSU. Right now, both those choices seem to have worked out pretty well for the fans.

I went to bed with the score tied at 23. It looks like I missed the best part of the game. 3 overtime periods with both teams missing two scoring opportunities in overtime. A phyricc victory at best if you're a Penn. St. fan laying the points.

fantastic football !! I don't know if we could ask for much better football then this, what a game, now bring on the ROSE BOWL. I just hope it is not a blow out. last year OU beat Texas 60 - 0 or something then went on the get humiliated by the southern cal. I just hope it is not a repeat and the best viewing is yet to come.

I think that was the most boring bowl game yet! I fell asleep in the 3rd quarter. It was fantastic if you like punts that is.

What a great bowl season. Three of the BCS games went right down to the wire. How about the Big 12??? Did those teams show up ready to play or what? PS- Nebraska plays both Texas and USC next season....ouch.

Was USC betting the other side. You had the bet won with 7 minutes left and USC is looking like they're in complete control moving the ball almost at will. They looked like they decided they didn't want to win and just gave it away. Just another example of why it doesn't make sense to bet on any event where humans or animals are involved in the outcome an you have no control of your money. At least with the stocks you have the control of entering or exiting your bets at your discretion.
I had made a small wager taking the points with Texas and with the 7 minutes left I was ready to kick the television screen in and went into the office to do something an my wife calls me out to see what was going on. I couldn't beleive Reggie Bush tryed to lateral that ball to the other guy. Gave Texas a chance to stay in the game and look what happenned. I think it changed the whole mental attitude around with that turnover.

You're not entirely correct about not having control of your money.

You should check out World Sports Exchange (www.wsex.com). You can "trade" your position on a game just like day trading a stock. It's a freakin blast.

                              Brief explanation:

Say you take USC -7 vs. Texas. If the market thinks this is the right line, the "stock price" of this position, at the beginning of the game is $50. The "stock price" will move up or down during the game, depending on how your team is doing. If it's late in the game, and your team is way behind, the price will move towards $0. However you can always "average down" and buy more if you think your team will come back and pick up "shares" for as low as $2/share.

Similarly, if you are comfortably ahead on your bet, you can "hedge" by buying low priced positions on the other side of your bet.

When the game is over, the "stock price" of the team that covers the bet is $100.

It's a roller coaster and beats the heck out of trading stocks for excitement and entertainment.

                              Check it out.
