    Mickey is $$$HUGE$$$ Again!!!

Mickey regains the lead with BWNG and our A/D/U for the week was 22/4/0 as 6 contestants all surpassed +10% for the week...led by Karel's CELL +14.38%, Stocks54's ELN +12.25% and Greb's APLX +11.80%.

Our A/D/U for the year is now 11/15/0 as Stocks54's ELN and Greb's APLX went green.

YTD our total portfolio is still red at -5.20% but the good news is that we are back ahead of the CSSGX which stands at -7.27%...Hey!!!...I thought CANSLIM was supposed to be a winning system in good times or bad???...I suggest the CSSGX goes to cash until they can get their act together....Wonder if they are going to enroll in the next CANSLIM Certification Course in Santa Monica next November? Do they offer a discount to previous attendees?

I use the open on 1/3/06 for the indices and the close on 1/3/06 for the CSSGX because funds are only priced at eod.

    NOBODY is $$$HUGE$$$ This Week

The Top 11 YTD were all red this week. Karel's CELL at +8.1%, Dio's PFE +6.3% and Web's ACW +5.2% were the only bright spots.

Lye's ECOL still hangs on to the lead however it looks like the race is tightening and at this point there are a number of contenders.

The collective portfolio was -4.41% this week after dropping -5.06% last week.

Our A/D/U for the week was only 5/21/0 but our YTD remained at 9/17/0 as Dio's PFE went green and Stocks54's ELN went red.

Overall...most indices were hit pretty hard although the SP 500 was slightly green. We lost a little more than the CSSGX this week...Maybe we could get a group discount if we all enrolled in the $7,000.00 Canslim Cerification Course...LOL

I use the open on 1/3/06 for the indices and the close on 1/3/06 for the CSSGX because funds are only priced at eod.

Celebrity Division--Pick of the Year Contest Week Ending 7/14/06

History was made. After 28 weeks we have a new leader. Cramer's ATI and Wyatt's FMCN have been usurped by previous #3 Hesler's Pro Timing Newsletter's FTO which surged another 9.52% this week while former #1 FMCN dropped 7.09% and #2 ATI dropped 22.17%. Only 3 advanced led by FTO and #12 ERTS +6.23%. The 14 decliners include ATI and FMCN along with ESLR -12.72% and SGR -14.44% being the worst. We have 7 picks in positive territory for the year with 2 of those close to the red line.

With the geo-political scene heating up considerably in the middle east I like the safe haven of gold and GLD to take over at least 2nd place this week if the tensions remain at these levels. Lye will you be the first one to do it. That will be a landmark and will never be done again. You could be the first to be first in both. I didn't really look back but it hasn't been done yet has it Doug?

    Sleddawg is $$$HUGE$$$ This Week...AGAIN!!!

Sled led...up 12.1% this week after rocketing 35.4% last week...Maybe it was all in the plan...At this rate he should be in 1st by the first week of December. Ski slips into 3rd with GLD +5.1%.

Lye holds a commanding lead now w/ ECOL as Mickey's BWNG is falling apart down 47% off the intraday high on April 7th.

The collective portfolio was -5.06% for the week taking us further into the red YTD at -5.42%...T-Bills are lookin' pretty attractive right now.

Our A/D/U for the week was only 4/22/0 and our YTD dropped a notch to 9/17/0 as Dio's PFE went red.

There was some good news and some bad news this week...The good news is that CSSGX was down even more than we were at -5.53%...The bad news is that our collective portfolio is still lagging CSSGX which is at
-5.26% YTD. Wonder if these guys got their money's worth at the Canslim Certification Course???

I use the open on 1/3/06 for the indices and the close on 1/3/06 for the CSSGX because funds are only priced at eod.

Interesting point for BWNG. This could be a nice setup for a pop up but there is some downside in the daily and weekly charts. This one is definitely worth keeping on your watchlist this coming week.

    Sleddawg is $$$HUGE$$$ This Week

About the only bright spot this week was Sled's FORD up 35.4%....Another 4 or 5 weeks like that and he'll be right in the thick of things...(Sorry Sled...I couldn't resist). Ski also advanced a coupla slots with GLD.

The race is tightening for 1st with LYE's ECOL and Mickey's BWNG as less than 5% separates them. But the real race at this point is for the bronze with less than 1/2% separating Gary's VLO and DMK and Peter's GG. Actually, I'm rooting for DMK and Peter to NOT place in the Top 3 because I will have to supply an extra prize. The top 3 prizes will be really good...at least IMO...But the prizes for 4th thru 26th won't be that hot...A FREE 2 week trial to IBD for the losers...Sorta like one of those participation trophies they used to give everyone in Little League...I would never put those trophies in my trophy case...Even when I was a kid I always thought those trophies taught people a bad lesson in life..."Don't worry...It's OK to be a loser...You will still be rewarded"

The collective portfolio was -1.66% for the week taking us into the red again YTD at -0.38%...Maybe we all belong over at MarketMillionaires???

Our A/D/U for the week was only 9/17/0 but our YTD jumped a notch up to 10/16/0 as Dio's PFE went green.

The worst news is that we continue to remain behind CSSGX which is still green at +0.29% YTD.

I use the open on 1/3/06 for the indices and the close on 1/3/06 for the CSSGX because funds are only priced at eod.
