    Doug,
Why does my CSSGX closing value always differ from yours ? Could it be that I'm getting number too close to market close and funds are delayed ?

    Close on 6/9/2006

IIC is $$$HUGE$$$...For this week anyway!!!

Been a looooong year as the overall portfolio "Crashed" this week down a collective -7.49%!!!

Don't get to toot my own horn much in this contest...In fact, I never get to...But I was the only one green for the week with IDWK +7.68%...However, I'm still way down the list on the YTD standings at -8.07%

Our A/D/U for the week was 1/25/0 and our YTD decreased to a horrendous 10/16/0 (First time this year that its been negative) from a YTD last week of 16/10/0 as Mimo (ENER), Karel (CELL), Sowers (ACI), Ernie (BEL), Dio (PFE) and Billy (TLF) all went red. The collective A/D/U for the Naz, NYSE and AMEX was 1803/6069/185 for the week.

Our overall % gain YTD decreased to +0.65% from +8.80% last week.

Of course...If its any consolation...we are still kickin' the cr*p outta the CSSGX which is presently -1.82%% YTD

I use the open on 1/3/06 for the indices and the close on 1/3/06 for the CSSGX because funds are only priced at eod.

The more money CSSGX gets...the worse they will do...Look what happened to WON's New USA Fund or whatever it was called in the 90's???

The celebrity pickers again continued a slide towards mediocrity. Although advancers led decliners 11 - 6 , gains weren't as large as the losses. Gainers were lead by FTO and SU both up 5.6% and Cramer's ATI +5%. Biggest losers were former #1 FMCN down 19.38% and #17 MWY down 11.42%.

Mickey is still $$$HUGE$$$ but Lye is closing in!!!

Looks like we are going the wrong way overall here. Collectively this is our 3rd red week in a row. The only real bright spot was Spike's CERS +12.4%.

Our A/D/U for the week was a mediocre 12/12/2 and our YTD dropped to 13/13/0 from 15/11/0 last week as Billyjoe's TLF and Mimo's ENER went red. This is the first week of the year that our collective A/D/U was not green.

Our overall % gain YTD decreased to +6.98% from +7.24% last week. The last 3 weeks our overall losses have been -3.6%, -4.00% and now -0.24%

Of course...we are still kickin' the cr*p outta the CSSGX, down -0.19% for the week and now only a paltry +2.49% YTD as the CANSLIM Fund has tanked over 11% the past 3 weeks....But all the other indices were green for the week.

I use the open on 1/3/06 for the indices and the close on 1/3/06 for the CSSGX because funds are only priced at eod.

Mickey is still $$$HUGE$$$ but looks like a race is developing

Another bloody week for the contest pix as some got whacked...But as always there were some bright spots...Karel's CELL bounced +14.8% which puts him back in the thick of things...Stocks54's ELN continues to climb +13.3% for the week and your's truly was up +10.7% w/ IDWK, although I'm still red YTD.

There were a couple of splits so I made adjustments to the opening prices on CELL (6/5) and ACI (2/1). I happened to notice that Karel had not entered CELL till 1/6/06...Too bad for him that he didn't enter Day One (1/3/06).

Our A/D/U for the week was an embarrassing 7/19/0 but our YTD increased to 15/11/0 from 14/12/0 last week as Billyjoe's TLF went green.

Our overall % gain YTD decreased to +7.24% from +11.71% last week as the overall portfolio was -4.0% for the week after going -3.6% the prior week.

Of course...we are still kickin' the cr*p outta the CSSGX which is now only a paltry +2.68% YTD as the CANSLIM Fund has tanked over 11% the past 2 weeks....And now I'm wondering???...Are all the diehard Canslimmers bailing on the Fund? Geez...If they follow the rules and they bot a couple of weeks ago they should have sold at -7%...Right???

I use the open on 1/3/06 for the indices and the close on 1/3/06 for the CSSGX because funds are only priced at eod.
