  • ERS is hanging on to its short-term trend line. A close above 22.50 could trigger some technical buying.

Thanks for the fast reply. I agree that 22.50+ close could create some upward movements. What about on the downside? A close below the 10-day moving avg-- would that create some selling pressure?

        second doji

i will put my 2 cents in...the second doji has given more indecision with respect to investor sentiment....now a third doji tomorrow on the down side would give a tri star candlestick pattern which is bearish....and could be a start of a new trend..however, confirmation is needed...this is a rare pattern....tomorrow will be interesting to see if ERS can break the 23 barrier ...if it fails tomorrow i have a feeling the bulls will be frustrated with their pos.

        cheers

looking at the Aluminum cont. contract...the STO looks like they are starting to curl up...with a bullish engulfing pattern on the weekly chart....that may be a goood sign for ERS.

CERA has been hanging on to its 20-day EMA for a few days now. A close below could trigger some selling by swing traders.

looks like the dump finally happened, so I covered my ERS short at 19.70.

It seems that the 30-day moving avg has been the "savior" and the big support for ERS since it started the big runup in December 2005.

I think once that 30-day gets broken (with a close ther), it will really selloff.

                      ERS again

Looks like that 30-day has finally been broken on ERS. That is of course if it closes under it today.

Volume says that money is coming out of it. I guess I covered a bit too early.

                        Iiin

Was doing some chart searching, and found this beauty

                        IIIN

whats going on there? Doesnt it look a bit "topsy" around $42? It's been up for 17 out of last 18 days (and 30 out of 32)...

talk about overbought? Or is the strong getting only stronger?

                          have no clue

I have no clue how to find these threads on these boards.

I feel like the village idiot. Feel free to take pot shots as I really don't get how to find specific posts and the threads that follow them.

                            • Two to watch

LAB - pulled back to and held the 20-day EMA. Looks to be rollong over so if the EMA fails to hold as support, a test of the 50DMA is likely.

PJC - consolidating. Last time this happened it moved sideways for two months. That was in the fall, however, when there was still strength in the market.

MAGS broke out of a Cooper 1-2-3-4 pullback today. The pivot price was $13.10.
