Nice bounce

IIF bounced off the 50DMA (which was also at the 38.2% retracement level, using last week's high and the 12/28 low). Indian stocks have been hot, Hot, HOT and this may be a good opportunity for getting in. IFN also pulled back to the 50DMA and bounced.

NTCT has been noodling around its 20-day EMA and is approaching the top of its trading range. Volume today is the heaviest its been in about 4 weeks. The Volume Flow Indicator will probably turn bullish on today's close.

ORLY - descending right triangle.

VTIV - small gap open higher on Tuesday despite the horrible market action. Yesterday was an inside day so we'll have to see if there's any improvement today.

PWEI - also a Cooper 1-2-3-4 candidate. ERG = 290 and estimates for the next two quarters are up 296% and 63% respectively, YOY.

TMI - misses being a Cooper candidate by 1 RS point. ERG = 264 and estimates for the next two quarters are up 83% and 130% respectively, YOY.

Gold in trouble

I pulled up a weekly chart of the XAU and applied a Fib. scale using the last time the index was on its 200-week MA (week ending 5/20/05) and the Feb. 2006 high. The index has fallen below the 38.2% retracement level (around 126) and looks headed down to the 50% level (around 116.75).

Today is the fifth day and it's highly unlikely it's going to break above yesterday's high.

OCPI looks strong and yesterday was a Cooper 1-2-3-4 breakout day. ERG is a super strong 288 and the %A/D is a very strong 72.5%. Estimates for the next two quarters are up 300% and 100% respectively, YOY.
