Should Mr. Market Hold A Convention in '06???

I vote for Atlantic City...eat drink gamble, etc. Seriously, we could get a big conference room and each investor can give a 20 minute seminar highlighting his favorite investment strategies....Power Point slides and all. There will need to be a keg in the room though.

I was hoping you'd like it Ernie...But I was pretty sure you would...That's why I didn't ask first before I posted the poll.

I actually have a number of possible ideas...but I'll let others post some first.

And I am serious...I'd love to meet you and many of the other members...Of course it is unrealistic to think that 1500 members would all come...But even 30 or 40 would be cool...Doug

I'd vote for Atlantic City if we did it in the spring or summer. Otherwise Vail, Aspen, or preferrably Steamboat Springs if we did it this winter. Skiing ya know. Count me in for anywhere in the continental USA. Steamboat is beautiful in the winter. No wives.

Well...I was thinking that maybe you could be the one the Registration Desk Hostesses to welcome everybody and of course show them your watch.

I was hoping Webs would be the Master of Ceromonies...Although I have no problem doing that if the Vulcan is too shy...Which I have a rather difficult time believing...Of course, Lye will be the bartender...I think we give Spike and Steckler 20 mins each to give their presentation...I'll give one too...You may not learn much...But I promise to make it entertaining...although I may have a hard time keeping it to only 20 minutes once I get going.

Then there's the California Boys...We could give them 2 mins each...And of course those "Right Coaster" buddies of Mr. M...we could give them 20 seconds each to introduce themselves before LYE SPIKEFADES their cocktails.

There has been rumblings about a gathering for all Mr Market Guys and Girls . Two possible sites ........Manasquan NJ , lovely seashore town on the NJ coast featuring the Sand Bar and Osprey Bar (Which claims to have longest bar in the world ) I am sure MR M has banged down a few brews at both these emporioums LOL It would be fun to see the Guys and Girls we interact with! Atlantic City woud also be another site . It has Casinos and entertainment. Comments anyone?

Do you live down the Jersey shore? I'm in Toms River. 20 mins. from Manasquan and 1 hr. from AC and NY.
