I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Register for free and you'll be able to post messages on this forum and also receive emails when $$$ MR. MARKET $$$ makes his own trades. ($$$MR. MARKET$$$ is a proprietary investor and does not provide individual financial advice. The stocks mentioned on this forum do not represent individual buy or sell recommendations and should not be viewed as such. Individual investors should consider speaking with a professional investment adviser before making any investment decisions.)

Wow...so many places...so confusing... I vote for Lye's back yard. We could all bring our favorite gun and shoot targets, while drinking Goji brandy. It would also give me a chance to see some of my kin folks I haven't seen before. I still think Lye and me could be related.

I'm pretty sure you guys are related...IIC

Wow...that looks like a nice place...but I want to stay at a place that I can wear shorts in the lobby...I always wanted to go to the Poconos http://www.poconosbest.com/Resorts.htm
I guess Park is right...should be in an area where the most members live. Sorta strange though...More members on the East Coast...But the best investors are on the West Coast...Doug

Catskills and Adirondacks much nicer than Poconos. Perhaps we should have an east coast vs west coast trade off to settle that assumption of yours. Actually we could go back into the POTW and look at the % to see where the best records live. That would give a decent indication of which coast is stronger. But let's not forget about the Midwest either.

Well, Jiesen lives on the West Coast and he's good. And we are claiming Park too...Las Vegas is not exactly on the West Coast...But if there is a big earthquake Park just might be living beachfront...Doug

Hey, I'm not a golfer either, but $$MM$$ is, and he is KING OF THE WEEKEND. Just give me a chance to play some tennis and drink Coronas.
"I was thinking that a 3 Day Mr. Market Cruise to the Bahamas out of Miami would be nice."
PLEASE PROVIDE A LINK. The cruise could be nice but at the Bahamas you don't want to leave the boat except for the big new casino. Of course, I could write ahead and see whether we could get an hour or two with old Mr. John Templeton of Templeton Funds fame at his Lyford Cay home. <cough>
Here's a link on Royal Carribean out of Miami. Actually September is cheaper. Also, for every 15 or 16 I get I think I get a free ticket. But rather than use it myself or if there are enough ...myself and my wife... I would think maybe a drawing or contest with the winner(s) getting a refund would be nice.
My wife and I have been on 15 cruises. In fact for my B-Day we are going on a 3 day out of LA over Easter weekend...You are welcome to join us...We will be in Suite 1560 on Deck 10 http://trimurl.com/49V ...Doug

Speaking of St. Louis...I think I changed planes there once...It is not on my Top Million places that I want to visit.
Geez...And my wife was so excited about the Mr. Market Convention until I told her where Steckler wants to have it...Here is a verbatim transcript of our conversation:
"Sugarplum...I think we decided where the Mr. Market Convention is gonna be"
"Goody...Tell me...Tell me...Please tell me Poochikin"
"Snowbunny...We are gonna have it in Steckler's hometown...Wonderful St. Louis"
"That's nice Butthead...send me a postcard"

That is a hilarious web site, and I have recommended it often. But it is this review of the Gold Spike that shows you where the reviewers are coming from:
Complete, funny and honest reviews of all the hotels and casinos. CheapoVegas and Casino Boy pull no punches so you'll know what to expect before, and once you get to Sin City.
Now, I finally found the "fat Elvis", er "big Elvis" web site:
The late Hal K. Rothman was professor and chair of the Department of History at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. In this interview he discusses Las Vegas and casinos.
James Howard Kunstler’s Clusterfuck Nation blog is updated Mondays and Fridays. The KunstlerCast podcast and Eyesore of the Month are monthly features. Read & comment here. Click to read Clusterfuck Nation, by James Howard Kunstler, a Substack publication with tens of thousands of subscribers.
In the first link, professor Hal Rothman says that in one year more human beings visit Las Vegas (>40M) than Mecca, the holiest site of Islam.
Cheapo Sarasota, ONE BLOCK from the beach! $99/night (dbl occupancy) for a studio! 2 BR for $219 (split in half for two). Right next to St. Armand's Circle, which is full of restaurants and boutique shops.
Official MapQuest website, find driving directions, maps, live traffic updates and road conditions. Find nearby businesses, restaurants and hotels. Explore!

Quiet side roads and boulevards are perfect for a morning jog or a casual stroll to nearby St. Armands Circle, which hosts shops, restaurants, galleries, boutiques and nightlife.
The beach, only one block away, is nice for relaxing or water sports, such as jet skiing, scuba diving, windsurfing, and more. Across the bay is Sarasota, Florida's cultural center and home to a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, from fine museums and theaters to championship golf courses and tennis facilities.

One more reason to book $$MM$$'s weekend in Sarasota!
