I don't mean to ruffle feathers. I was just thinking out loud as I was asked to start just one thread and stick to it....And, once I figured out how, that's what I did. It's just takes some getting use to as it's different from the EI board....There, every topic has its own post so you can easily skip over anything. And over there, there was plenty to skip over. I think you'll find my posts to be nearly 100% market related as they've been for 10 years. The one thing about posting, or the lost art of writing letters for that matter, is you can't be sure of your readers response. The nuances and voice inflections which help convey the message are missing so try not to jump to conclusions over my questions or concerns about this site. I believe the more eyes on the market the better and that's why I am reading and writing here.

For the first three years as an AOL member, I spent most of my time in the investor chat rooms....That sound ridiculous to even admit at this point....However, in the early days, the investor chat rooms seemed beneficial maybe I was drunk at the time....I posted mostly on specific stock boards like Intel or AOL. After repeating the line about how the AOL/TWX merger was the greatest transfer of wealth and the poorest merger of all time on the AOL board, I came fairly close to being banned myself. I've never posted under any name other than JSmith7070 and don't know how....

Granted...That sort of stuff is better left to A/H...But I will admit...I've been guilty during market hours between trades...You just need to sift thru a lot of info to see who may have some info that you may find beneficial. JMHO...IIC"Trade What Is Happening...Not What You Think Is Gonna Happen"

I have some Dutch folk in my church. They go around saying "If you're not Dutch, you're not much!" They are good people, hardworking, and very, very skillful in what they do. They are research biologists for hogs/cattle. They produce vaccines and dietary supplements to increase production. They have a herd of 1500 head that AVERAGES 105 lbs. of milk per cow per day--over the entire year! (In case you are not a dairyman), that's excellent!

Hi folks, pleased to make your aquaintances. What do you all think of the idea of a two year semi cycle? Russ Vandeventer
