GE....just when everybody has written it off, it starts to rally. Pays a 3% dividend too.

Originally posted by Jim SmithRegarding GE, I expect it to rise somewhat as the S&P makes a move to 1315 into mid Feb.....But not much of a move....That dividend is providing support but if folks feel the ecnomy is about to slow, a behemoth like GE can't move much, imo.
Ge has a lot of unhappy customers and the company doesn't
like to bother with those issues. Their QC has been slipping badly
over the last few years. The marketing rule "for every unhappy
customer you need 10 happy ones" applies here. Maybe stock
holders w/ GE appliances are dumping their stock.IMHO

Transports look like they are setting up for another leg higher.
FDX and UPS have a major weighting in the Index...both are setting up.

Here's one I like:
I thought the shadow surrounding this water drop was cool... and the waterdrop kinda relates to trading in an abstract kinda way..... you release control of that 1st drop down into the water (risking/trading you cash) and in the right circumstances (perfect TA setup), when the bigger body of water is juuuust right (bullish market) the water drop comes back to you (profits). And the shadows are merely reflections of the market! So you can 'Be' the market! hehe
