I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. AAPL has a date with $55 minimum....slowing consumer spending.....higher interest rates.....AAPL stores will drag on the bottom line the way Gateway country stores dragged on GTW.....AAPL is a survivor but not at this price.

I agree. I shorted AAPL a couple of weeks ago and it worked nicely, but those AAPL buyers came back in in a big way. But the bulls have to be getting tired. That's a lot of weight overhead.
I know we don't talk stocks around here cuz we're busy planning a trip to AC where no one will show up ......But PWEI is on a break out mission....I've seen folks spend a lot of on line time planning conventions in the past....And no one went.
Jim...Why do you think nobody will show up??? We made it at a location near where many members live...I woulda preferred a 3 day cruise or Vegas...But I agree that not many would show up to those.
I've set up meets in the past and made them where the most live and there has been pretty good attendance %-wise.
So...Can we count on you being there? I don't think it would be so bad if only 20-30 showed up plus spouses, friends, kids or whoever. I'd love to meet other members...Don't be a downer...I'd like to meet you too...Best, Doug(IIC)

Doug,
He has to show up now. Me and Adam took him up on that bet. I want and need that $50.
I think this rising interest rate environment is going to put a kink in the usual 4 year presidential cycle which generally indicates strength into April/May....
IFN....carved out a perfect technical top at $53 which I mentioned was the target here.....this ETF sells for substantially more than its NAV....the short entry was Friday of course, but another 10 points down won't surprise me....I am a buyer there....Remember, markets are more correlated when they fall than when they rise.
