I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Did a multiple liner regression on 1 year of data to find close as a function of Open, High, Low and Volume:
Coefficients and standard error for:
Open=-.4601 (SE=.0382)
High=.7596 (SE=.0532)
Low=.6987 (SE=.0554)
Volume=0 (SE=0)
Really means very little, but might be a tad interesting?
Oh well, so I have to wait till next week to sell. That's not so bad. But I had a really cool message all worked up for the occasion--kind of a message board version of an end zone dance, you know? Now I'll have to shelve it.
Another Huge pick here should come to fruition soon. But wait, we're not into fruit so much. Let's bring home the bacon instead. Glad I had a chance to get in on Muff Lix! Thanks Ernie! May your life be full with the finest meats and cheeses!
Did you see that topping wick on MFLX today? Probably get a push backwards now . . . it is going to hit the target and then some, but it has started to lose a little momo for the momento.
Singapore`s WBL, MFS Tech request trading halt
March 29, 2006 19:32:26 (ET)
SINGAPORE, March 30 (Reuters) - Singapore printed circuit board maker MFS Technology ((MFSO.SI)) and parent WBL Corp. ((WEAS.SI)) on Thursday requested for trading suspension in their shares pending announcements.
MFS, which counts Motorola (MOT,Trade) as a major customer, said on Feb. 8 in a statement to the Singapore Exchange that it has been in talks with an unnamed party which may lead to a merger or offer for the firm.
Dealers in Singapore said the unnamed company could be MFS's Nasdaq-listed sister firm -- Multi-Fineline Electronix Inc. (MFI) ((MFLX.O)) for merger talks.
MFS, with a market value of about $460 million, is 56 percent owned by WBL Corp.
