I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. DON"T CHASE THIS, IF YOU MISSED THE 82.05-82.30 BUY, LET IT GO
How can this be?
Vulcan Materials on the move and the vaunted VTP missed it entirely!
Where is Websman?
Where is Lyehopper?
Is it possible that the VTP is flawed!
Say it ain't so, Joe!

I just talked to Webs on the skyphone (he's enroute to Paris to explore ideas to expand the VTP you know) he said to watch VMC.... that he knew it was going to pop.... he just didn't want to be in the middle of a trade while he was in the air.
The following are worth taking a look at. Although not break out candidates for today, I expect solid performance from each over the coming weeks.
I like them pretty much for the same reasons; fairly solid balance sheets, decent pipelines and all have good analyst reports:
SYK, Stryker Medical. If you can get this at 45 or less, it will be worth your while. You should see 50 by the summer.
UTMD, Utah Medical. My entry here is 47.55 and I think you can look for a steady climb up to the 54 range.
SWIR, Sierra Wireless. I view this as a short-term play. If you can get in at 11.72-11.75, you should be able to pick up 5% in a week or so. Once it makes the 12.35 mark, I would walk away.
MED, Medifast. Here’s one that I feel could be a handsome pick in the short run. If you can get in at 6.70 or so, it’s worth hanging on to until it gets to 7.37. If it hit’s that 10% point in the next two weeks, then 8 won’t be too far behind. Trading around 7, that’s pretty close to its’ 52 week high of 7.39, everything is in place to push this one upward.
For the second day in a row, look for nice things from XWG.
A couple of wildcards to look at are FMX, DTAS, and CKCM. The reports all look good, a little red on the financials but I don’t think they are quite “ripe” yet. Still, they may merit being placed on your watch list. I realize everyone uses different criteria to filter their picks, and these may fit your model.
DISCLOSURE: I am long in XWG and have a limit in to buy CKCM. I have not taken a position in UTMD, but may do so during they day today. Of course, I will disclose if I do.
As always, do your own research to determine if these will work for you. The above is not an endorsement to buy, merely some interesting choices for your review.
Happy and prosperous trading!

I'll admit, I have no idea how your VTP works, but Vulcan released a surprise earnings forecast at 7:15 this morning.
I was also on DD and UNP. All released earnings estimates between 5:45AM and 7:30AM. These stocks usually see immediate pops at the 8AM mark. I am out of all three already. I did not capture the gains I expected, but 4-5% on each.
The one I missed was Sears. By the time I was able to get an order, it had already grabbed the lions share of the pre market pop. That's why I quickly posted not to try and chase Vulcan.
UTMD is trading around 33. May be you mixed up with something else there.
Cheers
Yes you are correct, thank you!
My entry here is 31.30 looking for 34.55. I am looking at my notes here, and can't figure out what the hell I meant when I scatched this out.
Sincere appologies!
XWG has pulled back a little today. The days low was 5.76 and is now at 5.80. I am used this as an opportunity to increase my position. I am very bullish here.
ADman, you are not alone. There is no one on earth who knows how it works. There are two reasons:
1. It doesn't work.
2. The VTP doesn't exist.
That was not very nice.... You may not be invited into the inner circle if your attitude doesen't change NBB. That would be a shame because Webs and me had already made big plans that included many nice perks for you.

Maybe my invitation got lost in the mail.

Look, Lye-BAby: I am a little afraid of Websman. You see, when he gets to drinking too much, and then he breaks out those phasers and starts shooting up the place . . . well, he is kind of dangerous to be around. Sure, he's a nice guy most of the time. But when he pals around with Jack Daniels, he becomes a drunken Vulcan that can't control his liquor. So I am afraid to join any circle with him!
Rail Roads have been smoking hot for some time now, and I believe the rally will continue for the foreseeable future.
Yesterday, I waded into UNP right at 8AM and caught a nice pop, and will hold UNP for a while. (Read: I don’t have an upside number on it yet).
I have been long in GWR (Genesee & Wyoming) since January “04, garnering a 109% gain. GWR had a split that completed last night (1 for 2), making it not only attractive, but also affordable to take a larger position. I plan on adding to my current position today at 31.45.
This is a strong company with a well polished, old guard management team at the top. Over the past couple of years, GWR has been expanding globally, and looks to become the largest RR in Australia.
This is one to buy, and put in the closet for a long-term hold. As the price creeps up, keep it in check with stop limits. There is an inherent risk that if the transports take a hit, the RR’s will go with them as peripheral or collateral damage.
