I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Register for free and you'll be able to post messages on this forum and also receive emails when $$$ MR. MARKET $$$ makes his own trades. ($$$MR. MARKET$$$ is a proprietary investor and does not provide individual financial advice. The stocks mentioned on this forum do not represent individual buy or sell recommendations and should not be viewed as such. Individual investors should consider speaking with a professional investment adviser before making any investment decisions.)

Good Game. People use it the way I use it sarcastically. it's an internet thing.
"If you think privatization is corrupt, try without it." _ Anonymous official in response to the Ukrainian parliament's decision to halt the privatization program on the grounds of possible corrupt methods in 1994.
Adman, I've enjoyed your posts and found them enlightening... hope that you'll reconsider and continue to post on MM.
Separately, ladies and gentlemen of this forum, what becomes of the site when the authors of the various threads start becoming so critical of one another.

When you or anyone assumes that another person or group of people are acting defensively just because they disagree with another persons point of view, who is the bigger asshole, an I use that term because you took it upon yourself to use it. What makes you presume that just because they disagree that they are assholes and defensive ones at that. You're making an assumption based purely on speculation and your own feelings. Nothing based on factual evidence or any concrete evidence to substantiate your position. It's based purely on how you feel about the situation. What I would like to see you do is to post something more solid like The Stock Boy did in his post regarding Adman and how Adman gave some of his time to help an encourage The Stock Boy with his finding stocks to play. So I'm asking you to give us something that you know or saw that the rest of us didn't to give some credence to your position about the asshole label. Otherwise I think that you may be just talking out of yours.
What I dislike more than anything is when people automatically go in the negative direction. Rather than making a factual based point and presenting that in a rationale fashion it's the type of arguement you presented which doesn't present any opportunity for thought on either side and just increases the division and the negative feelings between the opposing views. If you want to get anywhere in business or life in general you really have to give some consideration to thinking about putting your mouth in motion before your brain is in gear. You should also take a moment to read the post by Stock Boy and how he was able to soothe both sides in a diplomatic manner yet get his point across without creating a wider division between the opposing views.

Can you have an open forum or dialogue on anything without criticism from both sides an the ability to discern the differences between them without anger an abruptly leaving the table. It's the one point that distinguishes us from the other animals and the single most important asset in being typical or rising above the crowd.

Clearly intellectual disagreement was not at the heart of the departure, but instead a degree of criticalness coupled with provocation that made this thread unfold. Adman is of no obligation to go into depth of why he posts the stocks he posts nor did he solicit critique regarding his posts explicitly. He repeated similar conjecture on more than one occasion regarding his posts and picks. Sure, he fielded questions here and there, but his posting style was not similar to other regulars here. Perhaps it was unorthodox of him to take this approach, especially considering the nature of dialogue of this forum, but it was still the case. This is fact enough to enforce my beliefs above.

Maybe I should go to the convention...It might be interesting.
Well...You are certainly one of the many I would like to meet...Is this convention actually gonna happen??? It is not like I just have to drive down to the corner...???

I haven't read all of Adman's posts, but once he did lose me when he said that one of his picks came from his gut. That's not at all a technique I recommend to any market participant.
I come to this forum to learn how to fish, not to receive individual fish. There are too many hucksters and con men in the market as it is, in this day of instantaneous multichannel media. Adman seemed to prefer to offer fish (with little information about their source) instead of including the fishing lessons that helped him catch those fish.
