Well Park...I can't speak for Adman...But most of the stocks I buy for short Term-Intermediate Term appeal to me because they have that "Look"...Pretty difficult to explain...But I guess experience allows one to just look...and see the potential move the majority of the time...Doug(IIC)"Trade What Is Happening...Not What You Think Is Gonna Happen"

On the Internet, you are what you post. It's useless to become indignant when others don't immediately show infinite obsequiousness toward a fellow who announces his credentials, then launches his stock picks with very little information about the criteria with respect to which they have been chosen. It can come across as too cavalier and even dishonest.
We are all taught that there are no short cuts to knowledge about the markets. (I read earlier in the weekend about what Dan Zanger went through to gain real competence in the markets and confidence in his own trading approach.) I think we should be posting our respective ideas with as much context as we have the time to include in the posts, or at least to summarize that context in a post to which one will refer from that time forward.

Well...I think we should watch what others do...Then try to figure out if they are doing something which might benefit us in the idea dept....That's what I do anyway...posting on forums is not a paying job...If people like the ideas I post...Great...If they don't...or they have not taken the time to try and figure out what I'm trying to do...Then so be it...What can I do about it either way?Originally posted by ParkTwainOn the Internet, you are what you post. Ok, I admit that the internet is not some hierachical place in which prestiege and seniority gives people the license to say something without backing it up. With few exception, this is not how it works and this can be upsetting to certain types of people, adman included.Originally posted by Lyehopperbla, bla, bla..... Adman is a wimp.... face it!
Yeah, he's a wimp. He's a wimp because he knew all too well what sort of criticism he would face in a forum like this and for that I completely agree with skiracer. However, I enjoyed adman's posts because they had fresh stocks that I would of otherwised not known existed. I never made a play with any of his posts, but this doesn't mean that I never looked into some of his picks further to find out why he thought what he did."If you think privatization is corrupt, try without it." _ Anonymous official in response to the Ukrainian parliament's decision to halt the privatization program on the grounds of possible corrupt methods in 1994.

Adman, I also was a lurker of your posts. I enjoyed seeing stocks mentioned that otherwise would go unknown to myself. Unfortunately, I didn't cash in on any of your picks nor did I voice my appreciation for the information and research you shared with us on this site. I wish you well and hope you might reconsider. Best of luck...

Adman's decease
So very sorry to hear of ADman's demise. A very good speculator, and from this photo, a BoSox fan. How did those two things go together? By the way Lye, don't you think he has a redneck look about him? If you take off that tie, give him a jug of 'shine, he could probably fit in your neck of the woods after all.

Nah.... The rednecks around here know better than to put eye glasses on a corpse. When I die I really hope they don't give me a frilly pillow like that.Originally posted by New-born babySo very sorry to hear of ADman's demise.
