I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. HANS debuted at #1 on the IIC 100 on 9/11/05 at a closing price of 49.13...It remains there today...But could next week be a different story???...You'll have to wait till tomorrow to find out. But I have to admit...I bot it at 15...sold at 25...never traded it again...
But you can look at my site below to see all the IIC 100 lists back to the beginning...used to be a monthly list but I changed it to weekly last year...Remember TZOO???

now now, Doug... you are promoting your picks on a different thread other than your own. I do agree that you have made some HUGE and awesome picks, but let's keep this to the topic. Thanks
I think you have much to offer to the investing public. I am openly suggesting that people check out IIC's posts. He does post GREAT stock picks! He is above me in terms of investing and market knowledge (and age ). But, that should not detract from the proven performance of this particular screen.

Whoa...you are a tough taskmaster...OK OK...It's your thread...You make the rules...I will try to behave.
I was just mentioning it because it was on your recent screen list and there was a little discussion about it.
Age...Wait...I'm a very YOUNG 53
BTW...How much higher can HANS go? I have no idea? Best, Doug(IIC)

I don't see how you can count the money before you win it. Two or three months is way to short a timeframe to make a judgement. But good luck.
Of the picks, I think that there are good (short term) long opportunities in CCJ and OXPS. I like the technical set up of CCJ and I have been watching OXPS for the last few weeks. It came up on this screen a few weeks ago, and it finally seems to be moving forward. With the option traders here... what do you think?

I think you are playing with fire if you buy OXPS before Benny speaks on May 10th...Doug(IIC)

Nice call on CCJ. Ascending triangle all set to breakout. Looking for a first target of $44, and an ultimate target of $66. I owned CCJ a few months ago, just a few days before the split, at $70. I left before the split, and should have stuck around it seems. That $70 would have turned into $84.

I'd agree with that statement to say the least. That chart looks just like the FDG chart before earnings announced, and FDG took about a $8 shot in the nose thereafter . . . I wonder if OXPS won't do the same . . . if you are looking at a safe play, sell the out of the money calls and if earnings are good you can buy to cover them.

NBB...eps is a ways out...I'm thinking about the fed announcement

I'm wondering how the fed announcement affects OXPS... or are you talking in overall market terms?
If Benny raises interest rates, stocks fall again. Hey, the man misspoke last week and the dollar tanked against the CD from .86 to .9042. With friends like that . . . .
I am certain rates will rise this coming week...I think the statement will tell the tale.
The financial sector has been on shakey ground anyway although the charts look good....ET AMTD LEH LAZ...But they are dependent on what Benny has to say
