I am interested in the way you screened for the stocks. Where did you find the IBD100 list, or what screener did you use?

Also, do you think it is wise to buy stocks, even top IBD stocks, during a market correction, or retrace? Seems like it would be a good idea to stay in cash or go short. Too bad there isn't a list of the 100 worst stocks to use for shorting.

I have my ways of getting the list...

The stocks which my screen has picked is for big percentage movers in the market. When the market goes up, statistically, some of these stocks go up, but faster. When the market goes down, some of these stocks go down, but faster. The stocks which pass the screen are good for shorts or longs. The decision to do either is in your hands... this thread is a great place to make your arguments either way for any of the stocks. I will now post the weekly moves in the market as well as the weekly results of the screen.

Any of the current stocks raise your interest?

Actually I was responding to Rrochon's post regarding the question about a list of the 100 worst performing stocks. Barcharts.com has a list of the 100 worst performing stocks and the 100 best performing stocks. My post wasn't meant to be derogatory towards you or your list in any sense of the word. I'm terribly sorry that you took it that way. On the other hand any reasonable person with half a brain would have questioned my post before taking off on in a half-assed manner as you did. Well, there are 2 ways to do this: 1) I could spend a bunch of time and send you the picks each week for the last year or so, but the way I've been tracking the IBD results has varied in that time period. The screen has been tweaked a little here, and a little there- in increments. If I would have done the changes all at once, I would not have been able to pinpoint which criteria of the screen eliminated a particular stock, and why that was the right thing to do... So in essence, what you get now, is the finalized version of the screen. And honestly, it is always open to further tweaking. 2) I started another thread, called "Mining the IBD, striking gold" that tracked a screen over an 8 week time period. I also included in that thread some weekly screen results. At the end of the thread, I put up charts and the Excel worksheet which I used to track the portfolio over the 8 weeks. So, that gives you a bit of the history. But to answer your question, I can get you what I consider to be useless information of stocks that would have been elimated (in the most part) by the current screen. Honestly though, I don't think it will serve any real purpose- but that's just my thoughts.

I'll continue to post the screen results here, so you'll be able to wait until you can gather more information before using the screen results, if you want.
