I think Rob has it right; that is what I do too.Originally posted by IICThere is also another problem...When I write a looooong post I like to copy it before just in case something happens when I click SUBMIT or SUBMIT REPLY...The reason is that sometimes something seems to go wrong and the post does not appear...Apparently you cannot copy a pre-submitted post anymore...Let me try to copy my response before I click SUBMIT REPLY...
I'm back...doesn't work...Doug(IIC)
I looked around a bit and saw that the new vBulletin version uses Ajax. As I really didn't see that it was used in a useful way, I disabled it. Perhaps the copy problem now no longer exists. At least, I was able to copy a bit from an answer I started, move back, quote your post and copy it back in. That is more useful than whatever they cooked up with Ajax, IMO.
That the editor window isn't working is truly boring. Again I have no idea about the cause. I'll take it up with Richard. In the meantime, it is possible to hand code the codes that those buttons entered into a message (without the spaces):
[ b ] bold [ /b ]
[ i ] italics [ /i ]
[ u ] underline [ /u ]
[ color=red ] red [ /color ]
[ size=4 ] bigger [ /size ]
We are working on it!

Excessive member log in required....
Karel.... I have had to log in about fifteen times today (or more). Why is that? I used to log in only after I cleared my cookies out which was about once per week.
Has anyone else experienced this problem lately?BEEF!... it's whats for dinner!

I never have to log in and never clear or do anything with my cookies. I have the site on my favorites list. All I do is click on the site an it comes up an I'm in action. Never had any type of problem getting on to the site or having to log in everytime.Originally posted by LyehopperKarel.... I have had to log in about fifteen times today (or more). Why is that? Hi Lye, it seems to be just you with the login problem. You don't have software installed or browser options that clean out the cookie cache automatically when you close the browser? The only thing that I can think of is that you inadvertently activated such an option. Or one of the bits in your computer is warped, of course.

I switched to my other laptop and the same thing is happening. The site is requiring that I login too often (every 30 minutes or so). I am logged on another forum and have not had it kick me off yet.... and I have been logged onto it since last night.Originally posted by KarelHi Lye, it seems to be just you with the login problem.
