Lye, Doug's right. When you log in, you have to check the box that says "Remember Me?" right next to the box for your user name. Also, doing this on one computer only works for that computer. If you use the site from multiple computers, then you need to do the same thing on each one.—Rob

Richard has been busy with other things, but expects to have time free soon to look into the problems.
About Lye's login problem: as soon as other people start reporting the same problem, we'll look into it. Everybody: when you log in, check Remember Me! Except on public computers, of course...
I am sorry to hear that the site has been sluggish. I looked at the bandwidth and we have 1.2 GB for the first 4 days of June. That is rather a lot. Perhaps the spiders are to blame, and then I hope they finish their job soon. I also optimized all tables, perhaps that helps, and activated a post cache, so views should be faster and edits not too much slower.

Forum seems to be back in order!
Since I was the one doing a lot of the complaining about the site while it was under maintance.... I'll be the first on to say that the site is working pretty darned smoothly today. I see a marked difference! Thanks!!!! Karel and Richard! You fellas are HUUUUGE!BEEF!... it's whats for dinner!
