Louis Navellier, in this article, says: CRDN is a "very good buy," and calls both WIRE and IMCL "outstanding" buys.

Wow, that's the year I got married. I was paying 50¢ for a gallon of gasoline, and my monthly phone bill was about $7.00 (pre-ATT break-up). I was driving a '66 El Camino and remodeling an old Beverly Hills mansion.

          Rob,
I don't see Gates . The '66 El Camino would be nice today, not as nice as 1 share of MSFT in 1978. Back row left Stephen Stills , right Jeff Lynne ELO.

            Rob,
My curiosity just made me check out MSFT price history . Since going public 3/13/86 it has split 9 times making one share into 288. This includes both 2-1 and 3-2 splits. With the addition of special dividends , I think it would be worth more than a '66 El Camino unless it is absolutely cherry.

              Rob,
Sorry to keep rambling but I've got time to kill. That '66 El Camino , assuming it wasn't a 396 would be worth about : 1966 El Camino 283/195 hp
              Fair $4300 , Good $6700 , Excellent $15,000 , Show $19,000 , add approx. 50% if it was a 396.

                  Dave,
Don't tell me that's his girlfriend , Janis Joplin to the right. No, it couldn't be she died in '70 or '71.

BillyJoe, re Stills, Lynne, Joplin ... LOL! Hey, you needn't tell me who Jeff Lynne (a.k.a. Otis Wilbury) is. I'm a long-time ELO fan. ELO's version of Roll Over Beethoven was by far the best ever recorded--yes, even better than the Beatles' version--and those who know me might be shocked to hear me say that.

The El Camino came with a straight-six, 230 C.I. It had a 3-speed, manual transmission with a column shift. We were driving in the Canadian wilderness on our honeymoon when the teeth on the cam gear broke. We got stranded in a small town for a week. Long story, I'll spare you. A few months later I bought a V-8, 302 C.I. engine out of a guy's ('71?) Camaro and dropped it in. I drove it about 5 more years and sold it.

Well, actually it was Sunday, but yes, I did know that. Boy, how time flies.

I also remember Roger Daltrey singing: "Hope I die before I get old ... " and Mick Jagger singing: "Time is on my side, yes it is ... " I reckon they're singing different tunes now. LOL

                            Rob,
You're right about Jeff Lynne , a true musical genius. Did you see him in the George Harrison tribute ? I saw ELO live at Kent State in 1975 . Some reviewers contended that the music was pre recorded but I didn't believe it. The string players were classically trained and had played with the London Symphony Orch. This was no garage band.
