    • Does Sheen still favor Nat Nast shirts? They are pretty great. You can get them at Nordstrom's and elsewhere, and by mail order. I've bought a couple for my son the jazz sax player.

Nat Nast approaches each design with the idea that a man’s clothes should reflect his confidence, his irreverence, his instincts and his style.

Not familiar with them...But I just watched the show...They look like the old bowling shirts we wore in the 60's.

BTW...Did I ever tell you I met Joe Boxer before he was famous...He had a little booth at MayCo...Now Macy's...He gave me a free pair of Happy Face Boxers...I still have 'em...But I only wear them on special occasions.

        • Life in Hollywood is much deeper than I imagined

          //
Comedian Jon Lovitz accumulated about a million awesome points last Wednesday (July 11) when he beat the crap out of the trainwreck that is Andy Dick ...

The scuffle, which occurred at Los Angeles comedy club the Laugh Factory, had allegedly been brewing for quite some time because Lovitz blames Dick for the murder of their former Newsradio co-star, Phil Hartman. The trouble began at a Christmas party at Hartman's house in 1997, five months before Brynn, Hartman's wife, shot him and then herself.

"Andy was doing cocaine, and he gave Brynn some after she had been sober for 10 years. Phil was furious about it -- and then five months later he's dead," the Saturday Night Live alum tells Page Six.

When Lovitz joined the Newsradio cast after Hartman's death, he didn't bother trying to play nice.

"I told Andy, 'I wouldn't be here now if you hadn't given Brynn that cocaine,'" Lovitz reveals.

Fast forward to last year, when the two ran into each other again at West Hollywood restaurant Ago. Dick reportedly approached Lovitz's table, obviously drunk, and said, "I put the 'Phil Hartman hex' on you -- you're the next one to die."

Lovitz was furious, but tried to forget about the incident until he demanded an apology from Dick at the Laugh Factory last week.

"I wanted him to say he was sorry for the 'Phil Hartman hex,'" Lovitz tells Page Six. "First, he says, 'I don't remember saying that.' Then he leans in and says, 'You know why I said it? Because you said I killed Phil Hartman.' Which I never said. Then he asked me to be in his new movie."

According to witnesses, Lovitz then grabbed Dick by the hair and smashed his head into the bar several times, yelling, "I don't want to be in your movie! I don't want to be in your life!"

"All the comedians are glad I did it because this guy is an asshole," says Lovitz. "I'm not proud of it... but he's a disgusting human being."

Speaking of look alikes I think I've discovered the true identity of Osama BinLaden. He looks an awful lot like Hayden Siddhartha (Sidd) Finch , mysterious pitching prospect for the New York Mets who hasn't been seen since 1985. Height and build is about the same. They both walk with staffs and enjoy mountain strolls. Find a picture of Finch on Google images and add 20+ years of age, a little weight and a beard.

In my town beer is cheaper than pop (you might call it soda) 24 ounce single can of bud is 1.19. 20 ounce pepsi or coke is 1.29. Has the world gone haywire? How about some price checks in other areas. Ray, how much is one beer (not one keg) in Tonawanda ?

You can play this trend long-term using a sugar proxy, like IPSU.

Dedicated to all of you here, and you know who you are!

                                To my darling Husband,

I am sending you this e-mail from a bogus software company address so that you will be sure to read it. Please forgive the deception, but I thought you should know what has been going on at home since your computer entered our lives two years ago.

The children are doing well. Tommy is seven now and is a bright, handsome boy. He has developed quite an interest in the arts. He drew a family portrait for a school project. All the figures were good but yours was excellent! The chair and the back of your head are very realistic. You would be very proud of him.

Little Jennifer turned three in September. She looks a lot like you did at that age. She is an attractive child and quite smart. She still remembers that you spent the whole afternoon with her on her birthday. What a grand day for Jen, despite the fact that it was stormy and the electricity was out.

I am also doing well. I went blond about a year ago and was delighted to discover that it really is more fun! Lars, I mean Mr. Swenson, the department head, has taken an interest in my career and has become a good friend to us all.

I have discovered that the household chores are much easier since I realized that you don't mind being vacuumed but that feather dusting made you sneeze. The house is in good shape. I had the living room painted last Spring. I'm not sure if you noticed it. I made sure the painters cut air holes in the drop cloth so you wouldn't be disturbed.

Well, my dear, I must be going. Uncle Lars, Mr. Swenson, I mean, is taking us all on a ski trip and there will be packing to do. I have hired a housekeeper to take care of things while we are away. She'll keep things in order, fill your coffee cup, and bring meals to your desk, - just the way you like it. I hope you and the PC have a lovely time while we are gone. Tommy, Jen and I will think of you often. Try to remember us while your disks are booting.

                                Love, Mary
                                (Your Wife)
