I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Three contractors are bidding to fix a broken fence at the White House in D.C. One from New Jersey , another from Tennessee and the third, Florida.
They go with a White House official to examine the fence. The Florida contractor takes out a tape measure and does some measuring, then works some figures with a pencil. "Well", he says, "I figure the job will run about $900: $400 for materials, $400 for my crew and $100 profit for me."
The Tennessee contractor also does some measuring and figuring, then says, "I can do this job for $700: $300 for materials, $300 for my crew and $100 profit for me."
The New Jersey contractor doesn't measure or figure, but leans over to the White House official and whispers, "$2,700" The official, incredulous, says, "You didn't even measure like the other guys! How did you come up with such a high figure?" The New Jersey contractor whispers back, "$1000 for me, $1000 for you, and we hire the guy from Tennessee to fix the fence."
"Done!", replies the government official. And that friends, is how it all works !!!
Sold my 200th dollar worth of tomatoes at my self serve stand today. That's over 1000 tomatoes when you figure in the Italian and Cherry tomatoes. I can buy lots of trades with that. We've got salsa, canned whole tomatoes, tomato sauce, and canned tomato juice. Had to stop eating them myself 'cause the gout was killing my joints . Some say it's the acid. Tomatoes coming out our ears and more ripening every day.

Sounds good...I love home grown tomatoes...However, I have a "geographical" tongue and the acid irritates it if I eat too many. The worst thing is canned pineapple although fresh pineapple doesn't bother me. Strawberries, citrus and bananas are also irritating if I eat too much...However, I still eat all those things.
Ya know what I really like is home grown potatos...I don't remeber what kind they were but when I was a kid we used to grow them on the side of my grandmother's house. She had a guava tree too...we had guava jelly coming out the ying-yang...although it might have been jam or preserves i guess...

Billyjoe, I love home gardening and for a couple of years back in the mid 70's myself and a few friends had the largest organic farming adventure in new jersey. our jersey tomatoes are renowned for being the best but any good tomatoe is great in my estimation. how many plants do you put in a year? i stll love to home garden and put in 6 or 7 plants every year. i like the supersonic and beefmasters myself. what type do you plant the most of.

Hey wait. Except for this year when I decided to take a break from gardening, I have grown the best tomatoes on earth! All organic (God, I hate pulling all those weeds.) Usually 12-15 plants. Just made lasagna from the last of last year's crop of boiled down juice with homegrown herbs. Fantastic. River

i've always said that you were one hot tomatoe. send me a quart of that sauce. if you grew them organically i'm sure you must have had to pick off those orange and black striped colorado potatoe beetles and those big green horned worms (catapillars)?

Hell no. We don't have pests of any kind here in the great state of Ohio, especially in Rocky River near Cleveland (except an occasional Canadian soldier that shows up just when we need him, to defeat the Yankees). We are just passionate farmers with no inhibitions and including no pests of any kind!
Ski,
I planted maybe 40 plants and 15 different varieties. Of course you can never find the tags especially when one plant is outstanding. Here's a few of the varieties: Golden Boy, Big Boy, Better Boy, Beefsteak, Giant Cherry, Tiny Tim, Stuffing Tomato, Chinese Tomato, Mountain Pride , Roma, San Marzano, Early Girl. One came out almost perfectly square 3". Saved about 200 seeds from it.
And I did have some Supersonic.
