Wimp doesn't exist in the dictionary...it's been hacked from the word...whimper and maybe in a few years it will appear as a new word.

Louetta...That was just an example as you noted...But I'll tell 'ya...A Midsummer Night's Dream really put me to sleep...LOL...I refused to read it after the first sentence in 11th grade...However, the teachers were hip to the Cliff Notes scams:

But they were really stupid in general as they didn't take the time to research the many other resources I had for conning them...I know I spent more time in HS and College getting around the system than following it...I even had one Student Teacher in 12th grade Gov't...from USC... tell me straight out..."You are the biggest con-artist I ever met"...My response was..."Thanks, I take that as a compliment"...I'll never forget Miss Stone...Or should I say Ms Idealist???

I'm sure there are a few smart professors somewhere...But the only profession that I have less respect for than teaching is law.

I sincerely hope that when you get your masters that you get out into the Real World...It is a great experience...And my favorite part about it is dealing with people that are smarter than me (or think they are)...I love the challenge and I love beating them at their own game.

Anyway...The BEST talent IMO is getting people to do what you want them to do...And letting them think they got one over on you...Nothing is sweeter...Well, almost nothing...LOL

How about politicians, insurance salesmen, real estate people.

Actually its a PhD program so I won't be out in the "real world" for a while unless they kick me out.

That would be "smarter than I".

I have good luck getting people to do what I want them to do. Wouldn't call it sweet, just a matter of expedience.

I understand your confusion about what got skinned. Separately, I believe there is no h in wimp.

I see the use of e.g., denoting only an example. For more info turn on Michael Wood's series Searching For Shakespeare, on right now in Boston on Channel 44, PBS (actually Channel 16 in this age of cable). According to Wood, Shakespeare was a pretty cool guy, struggled early on to support a large extended family, later his plays pulled huge crowds (2000+ at some performances). A charismatic fellow the implication is he got all the chicks he wanted. Had the stones to write plays not flattering to the royals (Richard III)At any rate not hint of wimpishness.

Ive got a friend in Stratton. Havent skiied with him in several years . Maybe after Feb. I could do something . Im going west in Jan(Can) and Feb(tahoe) and by march VT wont be so darn cold ( fairweather west coast skiier )

That would be doable for me Greb. Stratton in February is great. We ski in NY through March and into April some years. Vt. is definitely open in late March/earyl April.

I've never skied either but years ago my wife and I drove up into the Canadian Rockies and Banff National Park. Spectacular country is an understatement. We've always wanted to take that train trip across the Canadian Rockies into British Colombia. Sounds like a great trip and some of the best skiing in the world. Greb, your in Syracuse. We should hook up in Vermont some weekend. Maybe Stratton or Killington. That wouldn't be to far a drive for you would it? It's about a 6.5 hr. drive from where I live in New Jersey. We could get a group together some weekend after the first of the year.

Again I'm not really a skier, I've been and will go again but mostly I've gone with my family and the older we get the less family excursions there are, regrettably.
