I used to go to the Mill Hill Club in South Yarmouth for happy hour on Saturdays.....they were quite "interesting" events.

A friend of mine met a young girl on vacation down at the Jersey shore. Her name was Brenda Lee. Not the singer of the same name. Boy I just dated myself. She invited him to come up to visit her and he asked if he could bring a friend or two. No problemo. We had no idea of how wealthy her family was. We went up and stayed for about 3 weeks as house guests. They had a hugh piece of property and a big house with maids, butler, cook, and gardeners plus a full time chauffeur. The father was a bigtime lawyer in Boston and made plenty of money. For rich and socially prominent people they were down to earth and treated us as good as you could expect of anyone. It's been a long time ago and I don't remember to much about the area.
My wife and I enjoy sailing and have a small wooden Comet. It's a classic. Another friend of mine has a 42 ft. Benateau, French sailboat that was made for ocean racing and long voyages and sleeps 6 comfortably, and he sails it up to the Cape and Provencetown every year around beginning of August for about 3 weeks. We crew for him and have gone with him on a number of occassions but lately I've been so busy that the best we can do is to drive up and meet him somewhere and spend a few days with him while he's up there. Can't beat that area around the tip and Provencetown.

I see that now. Thanks for pointing that out. Does "hugh" spell something? I thought for some reason it did.

It spells the guy's name that lives down the street from me.

Thanks Peanuts. I don't know what I was thinking when I wrote hugh for huge. Maybe I was thinking of Hugh subliminaly. I hope that's not latent homosexuality setting in.

Yes while sailing across the blue waters of Cape Cod bay our eyes met fleetingly, momentarily and our hearts were locked together for all of eternity. But we both realized that our passions were imbossed in trading stocks and not one another.

LOL! His sinewy biceps glistened in the afternoon, New England sun. Were it not for the small waves lapping at the hull, I'm certain the sounds of my heart could easily be heard by one nearby. A gull cried a plaintive cry that reminded me of life's brevity, glutted as it is with worthless, vain pursuits. Hugh was obviously well-diversified.

How do you like your thread so far ? Her lips said no, but her hands said yes. Or was it her eyes said yes, but her portfolio said no. Far away an order was cancelled.
