How do you like your thread so far ? Her lips said no, but her hands said yes. Or was it her eyes said yes, but her portfolio said no. Far away an order was cancelled.

I think its a groovy thread. We discuss all sorts of interesting topics instead of always talking about boring stocks. (I did take one of my accounts to 100% long yesterday which puts me about 50% long now which will probably kill this rally.) I don't use my hands, that's what guys are supposed to do. You have to be careful about eyes saying yes, its PC these days in some quarters to get a verbal OK to proceed from step to step which pretty much kills romance methinks.

I notice that on a two month chart HSOA is carving out a nice saw tooth pattern. Not sure what it means but its visually very pleasing.

Went to Salem today...leaves were the same...Guess my expectations were too high...I expected all the leaves to be red and gold...Guess I should have known they only print the best photos in those articles...But it is still pretty.

Got a late start because LVLT announced and it got wacked Pre-m...So I stuck around till 10:30ish...But it looked OK so I held on and we took off.

Weird having the market open so late. I'm used to 6:30am...I think my ideal Market time would be Mountain Time...Gives you 2 relaxing hours to read news and stuff...that is if you get up at 5:30am...In 2004 when I first started daytrading I got up at 4:30am...but that got old after about 3 momths.

Anyway, we toured the House of Seven Gables...Looks the same as it did last time I was there 37 years ago. Went to a Witch Museum...it was educational...Went by the Witch House...My wife felt right at home...lol

Then off to Gloucester...Had my photo taken with that guy on the Gorton's Frozen Fish Stix box...or was it the Fisherman's Memorial???...That looked the same too except they had more lost fisherman names on the plaques...Had dinner...The seafood is great around here but I need a steak...although I had surf 'n turf last night...but you get a small cut that way.

Going to Nantucket, probably on Thursday...many ferries are closed for the season but there's one from Hyannis...Doug(IIC)

Yeh, maybe being by the water moderates the temps and slows things down so the leaves turn later. I think the fact that the HO7Gs doesn't change is part of the deal. I mean it would look odd if they put a PC on Hawthorne's desk. Actually I'm pretty sure Hawthorne never lived there. Never been in the witch house. Gloucester is nice, Rockport too. Good Harbor is my favorite beach. If you're up near North Andover check out a restaurant named Joe Fish. Excellent though heavy on the fried stuff. Got to think of my milk white complexion.

November 14th thereabouts I wouldst opine based on 8/14 for last quarter. I see they are presenting in New York today and tomorrow. I mean if these guys are liars they must be hung like Secretariat to be going around like this with Skilling getting 24 years all over the tube.

Maybe I'm just cynical...But I think the Street is rampant w/ liars and manipulators...Our job is to try and figure out what they are doing and take advantage of it...Doug
