Separately, what's the difference between a wigwam and a tepee? Well, off to the pool. Got to work on the bod as well as the mind.
Now that's provocative you brazen young lady.

      Today's lesson:

On the matter of Longfellow's Hiawatha...I'll bet your Gitche Gumee he plagiarized it...It was really written by Nostradamus who was giving us an early preview of what was to come... called "Hakawatha"

By the way...here is the shortest poem...it is about fleas:

      "Adam had 'em"
"Trade What Is Happening...Not What You Think Is Gonna Happen"

By the shores of Gitche Gumee,
        By the shining Big-Sea-Water,
        Stood the wigwam of Nokomis,
        Daughter of the Moon, Nokomis.
Dark behind it rose the forest,
Rose the black and gloomy pine-trees,
        Rose the firs with cones upon them;
Bright before it beat the water,
Beat the clear and sunny water,
        Beat the shining Big-Sea-Water

Just a tiny fraction of Longfellow's epic poem that takes hours to read. Yes, indeed, that poem is a long fellow—and easily among the best ever written.

The poem that always left me scratching my head was Lewis Carroll's "Jabberwocky."
Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
        All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe. [etc.]

              Louetta,
May I opine that Gitche Gumee has been analyzed to a farethewell.

Well, having arrived at Ann Taylor's when they opened at 10 this morning and finding two other people also there at the open and then proceeding to Best Buy, which opened at 10, and finding the parking lot mostly full at 10:30, all of this on a weekday, I confidently predict a good retail holiday season. Plus the fact that Thanksgiving is early, thereby providing more days to shop. Mayhap RTH calls offer a good way to profit. Both the mall and the Best Buy open at 5AM on Friday for your shopping convenience. Regrettably the cheapest cinnamon roll offered in the food court at the mall was $3.25. I passed on that to help preserve both my wallet and my girlish figure.

Separately, FXI, a China ETF, might offer a convenient way to put some money to work while uncorrelating oneself from the US market.

Methinks you should wait to buy my Christmas present until after I post my Christmas Wish List...Usually post it right after T-Giving....I'd hate for you to spend your life savings on something I don't really want...I'll keep an eye on the Mailbox about a week before Christmas...Thx...Doug

I'm not super familiar with Central Ma. but methinks they are not far apart.

I just wanted to set the record straight...

BTW...If you didn't pick up my Christmas present yet I've got good news.

I collect Baccarat Crystal and I always wanted the "Wall Street Bull"...They discontinued it a few years ago although I found one on EBAY once...But I missed out.

                                Well, apparently they're back:

If that is a little more than you wanted to spend on me...I won't be disappointed if you find a little smaller size one...Have a COOL YULE...Best, Doug
