first stop triggered. I doubt the second stop will trigger. If it does, I am out 25%.

It is good to buy a small position first, then add to it IF all goes according to plan. The reason for such a large stop, is because of the size of the initial investment. If it was larger, I would have set tighter stops. The size of the investment would have gotten larger once it broke the first area of resistance... but as the chart says, it's not going to do that anytime soon.

I guess I'll be stuck holding these few shares for a long time.

          Berkshire Hathaway

The Oracle of Omaha, Warren Buffet, and his partner, Charlie Munger are two of the most successful investors ever. The shares of Bershire Hathaway (BRK.b) are breaking out to new highs today.

This is a great company, solidly built, heavily fortified, and widely diversified. Today is a a great day to buy BRK.b

The class A shares are basically the same thing as class B shares, but you get voting rights. They trade as a multiple of one another.

Agreed. With profits up 62% this quarter, and increasing with every rate hike, BRK is a sure bet. Kicking myself that I sold mine.

Though my name here is peanuts, I don't like the avatar I currently have.

I am taking submissions of Mr. Market members of a new avatar. Please post your pictures here, and I will choose one of them for my new avatar.

My personal opinion is that your current avatar is quite classy: top hat and Bat Masterson cane, with a monicle, you look like a winner. The forum name "peanuts" doesn't evoke an image of class unless you look at your avatar, and then it says, "REAL class!" So I vote for your current avatar, unless of course, you want me to loan you that picture of a sick colt

                  Mob

An avatar like this, tied with the monicer "peanuts" would make you look like you are a member of the Mob. (Lacks class, don't you think?).

                    Burgers for breakfast

On the other hand, an avatar like this one, tied with the moniker "peanuts," evokes quite a different image of what a 'peanut' actually is. Although Winston Churchill was famous for picking his nose, (and wiping it on his pants) like the gun, I think it lacks class, don't you?

                      Proper Bathing Techniques

And this avatar, in which the subject clearly lacks proper training on personal hygiene, also seems to lack the class that a person of your eminence has. I just don't think it fits.

                        How about this:

The record title is called, "The M-M and the Peanuts" How appropriate is this? AND... it's made by Money Records!

                                Goldfield

Goldfield, GV reported EPS for the quarter 100% above the previous year's quarter. Backlog has decreased from the beginning of the year and some committments were broken on the customer side for their properties. The electrical business has experienced much higher demand due to hurricane devastation, leaving GV as a potential hurricane play in the future. We may see a gap up today on this latest earnings report

GV was once one of the stocks in my MOMO portfolio. I have owned it on and off from $1 to $2+ and it has treated me very well. I might take a little nibble today if all goes well.
