5 stox for 5/11/10

Todays picks contain 5 stocks , 4 of which have been mentioned before , with a NEW one REZ ! If you want to play it safe, stick with ULTA and REZ; however , if you can tolerate more volatility and hence reap much more reward go with CPFXF, TASXF and UURAF.

1. CPFXF Copper Fox Metals has mining projects in Schaft Creek , one of the largest underdeveloped copper gold molybdenum silver deposits in Canada. Basically they are drilling cores to determine the amounts actually on the property.
2. REZ Nareit Residential . Zillow estimates that 28% of ALL homeowners are under water with their mortgages. In Phoenix AZ 68% of homes with a mortgage are under water. REZ holds 36 REITS , mainly in multifamily housing, long term care facilities , and self storage complexes. Since rents are rising ,and with owners walking away from mortgages and renting and with REZ paying a 3.11% dividend yield ....it may be one to tuck away .
3. **TASXF Tasmin Metals Only company with HEAVY Rare Earths and the compliant 43-101 certification in Europe

The stock markets have been tricky of late, and although stock futures are currently positive , it is anyone's guess just how they will end the day .


1. ALU Losses have narrowed and the earnings are out today.
2. MOBI Sky -Mobi
3. TSYS ANother excellent Telecommunications stock
4. **UURAF Risky pink sheet rare earth stock. UURAF is currently an undeveloped mine located in Alaska , and is perhaps the ONLY U.S. HEAVY rare earth deposit . The heavy rare earths are needed in the hybrid cars . China supplies 97% of the world's rare earth needs, and they may be interested in the Ucore UURAF project? They have been cutting their exports of rare earths.

The markets appear to be treading water , and making any progress seems to be difficult at best. The following picks have good momentum and may carry the day for us.

1. ALU Alcatel Lucent With Quarterly earnings release on Friday this stock could go either way. Hopefully earnings come in better than expected. If buying today , I would suggest holding off until about 1PM , just to see how the market is doing.
2. CBR Ciber Nice bounce here , Check it out http://www.barchart.com/chart.php?sy...&x=29&y=3#jump JUST put in the other call letters to see charts of ALL the picks.
3. CNO Financial Group
4. INCY Incy Corp
5. MCP Molycorp
6. NNBR Nnununknown

8. SRCL Another winner Mr Market Pick , after a few down days it may be UP from here
9. TSYS Telecommunications This baby took a hit and dropped from $9 and change in JAN 2010 to current $4.56 per share , BUT don't sell TSYS short. The company has over 130 patents, and has posted higher revenue for 13 straight years. TSYS does business with AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and US Cellular. This Mighty Mite still has juice left, and it sure looks like UP from here!

I used to work in a ball bearing factory owned by GM and I can vouch for the fact that you need good support when picking up a tub of the balls. It's painful just thinking about it.

Billie while still in High School and on a split schedule , 7:29am _12.19PM , I worked in a cafeteria in a bowling ball and car brake lining factory named Raysbestos Manhatten . I remember guys coming into the cafeteria covered in white powder from the bowling ball section many with fingers missing as a result of placing hands into mixing machines.
They also made asbestos brake linings.....wonder how many of those guys eventually came down with that lung disease?
I would serve the food , and as long as it was not moving they would eat it . They were so hungry and not particular at all .....I am sure they would have eaten road flares without a complaint . Ah yes those were the days.
