Wooish Thanx
Wooish thanx .....but as you and I know the markets can turn on a dime ......ALWAYS be wary , do your own research and then make your decisions.Originally posted by wooish View PostI think you're on fire lately. Keep up the good work buddy. BTW, I bought some GNVC today hoping that it's the bottom, placing my stop at .70
These biotechs are so unpredictable .....technical analysis does not seem to apply in certain cases.
Woo GOOD LUCK WITH GNVC as it may be on its way back up!

The results were exactly as predicted by Goldman Small Cap Research yesterday. Don't know what the panic sellers expected. Maybe their sights were set too high.
(Goldman) Any deal with Big Pharma partnership in the coming months "could be worth as much as $300M or $4.00 per share to Rexahn, once announced" (based on strong Serdaxin results in Phase IIa, which is what was announced, as far as I can see). "That is over-and-above the value of the Teva relationship, and all other drugs in clinical and pre-clinical stages."
I'm still holding. Why panic sell at a big loss? I'm in for the longer term.
(the link didn't work for me either!)

Billy, my bias with pharma companies with actual product selling is to look only for number of products selling, depth of pipeline, and potential as a takeover candidate. I surely have heard of CELG, but never seriously investigated it. Reading about their products makes my skin crawl and I pray fervently that I will never personally be in a position where I have to take them. http://www.celgene.com/pdfs/product_pipeline.pdf.Originally posted by billyjoe View PostRiver,

I think this does not bode well for the current price. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Ahead-....html?x=0&.v=1
Understand that I am not speaking as an FA person here, but TA. On the daily, it looks like a weird H&S pattern (the right shoulder is awfully high) but it is holding the 50 sma on a definite red trend. On the weekly holding the 9 sma but looks like it might be in the down a of an abc, the c going even lower. My bias is that it goes down from here barring any exciting news. River

I don't have a position in RNN but today is a perfect example of buy on the rumor and sell on the news. Seeing that you're still holding, I figure you must've done some extensive research. Would you share what you've found with this company that makes you take the risk? I may buy some when the panic sells end.

The easy short answer is that I was way up in the green and now am in the red. Other than that, rather than take a loss (albeit small), I am prepared to wait for the next FDA approval and the announcement of another partnership based on the expectations in the favorable Goldman report. Rexahn is apparently in talks with 5 other pharmas because of the potential large market for their Seraxin Parkinson's application and the female erotic (well, you know what I mean) drug and the other 2 or 3 in the pipeline. I hate these companies, I have a basic distrust (from horrible professional experience) of (dare I say it?) Koreans (and Indians), but I hate to lose money more. I have researched the company, but they are no different than any other money-losing small biotech that I have disdained in the past. The big hope is for a buyout!. So do DD, be patient, and remember, I don't usually DO THIS. I have too much experience in Biotech (I AM ONE) to expect the best, but hope reigns eternal.Originally posted by wooish View PostRiver
