Yes it could IMHO. It will probably increase greatly shortly before the decision of Oct. 12th (or before, by maybe a couple of days). DNDN went from 39 to 54+ immediately after (within minutes of) that positive FDA decision. lf the decision is no on ALXA, it will drop precipitously seconds later. The decision we will have to make is to sell on the increase before the FDA announcement or hold and cross fingers for the best.

One more for the gipper, SHORT SPMD before the fat lady sings. SPMD has debt of $2.75 BILLION after a restructuring, coupled with falling sales. Aha , definitely music to the vulture's ears. They are involved with "Yellow Pages" Unfortunately Idearc and R.H. Donnely , 2 other Yellow Pages companies , have already gone into bankruptcy!
Let's SHORT SPMD, and ride this puppy down! Gives more meaning to the old TV ad, "I wonder Where The Yellow went , When I brush My Teeth with pepsodent"

My Dream Tai Program tells me , if you wish to SHORT , wait till SPMD sinks to $10.02 then short and set buy to cover at $11.18

And don't forget the customize option. I used it to check performance from June 2007 through now. I saw a 40% drop, which is still a heavy blow when you see it happening in your own portfolio, but SPY dropped more.

Karel thanx I was aware of that .....but since my daughter is a young lady , and has time on her side , those blips are averaged out over time!

Phillip Morris MO , has had drop offs , BUT it has been one of the BEST over a longer time period.
A friend of mine had been left a few hundred shares of MO back in the sixties when his dad passed........today through splits and spin off s he has over 10,000 shares and receives well over 30K per year in dividends!

Sure! I did not mean it as crticism, rather the opposite. They were hurt, and a lot, but kept things more or less under control. And they are almost back to 2007 levels, which is pretty good.
