I mentioned in another post I'm a headhunter in construction. ORN is going to have a very strong year from what I know about them. They have been expanding their operations in Texas and the south and the number of construction companies expanding in this environment are few and far between. LG short made be a few hundred bucks the other day, so thank you for that

Lemon the stocks lised above are basically charts that I like . They are momentum stocks, and they will do well in UP markets over 2 - 10 days . Follow them up with trailing stops ...and when the stop is hit and the stock sells, others will take its place. The placement order is strickly random!

Although I don't comment usually, I always look at your picks and usually say "dang it" when looking a day late. Always good money makers in the list.

What formula/methods do you use in calculating what kind of a stop to set? Do you use 5% on every stock or how do you make those decisions?

Lemon no hard and fast rules ....but generally when stock is over 10 10% TSL and when below 10 15% TSL TSL = Trailing Stop Loss which can be activated at Scottrade and Tdameritrade ,which I both use

Futures are up as I write ....but one never knows what will transpire during the day. These 8 should perform well over the next 2-10 days. Banks and Gold seem to be HOT .......so mostly Gold with One Bank.

1. AU LONG Gold bouncing off 7 EMA (Exponential Moving Average )
2. ANV LONG Gold Nice chart money flowing into this one
3. EGO LONG Gold another pretty chart
4. STAR Long Mobile communications
5. NTES LONG Chinese internet gaming stock could be HUGE
6. HWKN LONG Chemical stock
7. ASIA LONG God knows what they do? Chart Real Nice
8. KBE LONG Bank ETF Banks are hot , but why buy one ..get 24 in this ETF package ...This ETF appears to be bouncing up off its 30 EMA .....This could be a buying opportunity?

Here are a few I like that you may want to put on your radar (I've checked fundamentals, they are all profitable and trading at a book value < 1.00):

MWE - $17.24 (Energy)
ANAT - $77.75 (Insurance) - also 77 cent dividend ex-date is 06/03/09
LINE - $19.40 (Energy) - I mentioned this one a week or so ago, shame I didn't get in it

1. AU - hasn't turned a profit in over 5 years
2. ANV - hasn't turned a profit in past 5 years
3. EGO - wildly profitable, P/E is a bit high for me, especially considering the huge profit figures
4. STAR - you already know about this one
5. NTES - increasing profits over past 5 years, this one has nice fundamentals
6. HWKN - great looking fundamentals as well, I like that they have revenues of $26.75/share and the price is only $20.15, means they have a solid cashflow.
7. ASIA - lots of insiders unloading stock it seems, strong short interest also (5%), maybe we'll see a short squeeze?
8. KBE - I'd go for single banks for bigger gains, but looks to be safer with a lower return
