Well time for MONEY GUSHER 3 ....SHOWTIME! I have slimmed down the portfolio to 12 FAST Horses. All stocks are under 5 bucks, with the exception of GRUS which is $9.65 and UIS which is $26.20. I have used Friday's 10/23/09 close prices as the start point for all stocks. The Portfolio will run for 20 days with no additions or deletions. I will announce the results on 11/20/09.
Obviously if there is a huge downdraft in the markets these stocks will also suffer, but if the markets continue as they have you will be in the winner's circle on 11/20/09 with some handsome profits in your portfolio.
50K was distributed equally among the 12 stocks or $4,166.67 was placed into each stock!

I have corrected the above post .....UIS was listed in error as $2.62 ..its price should have been $20.63 .
Because the markets took a big hit .....obviously the portfolio was down on its first day. Not to worry ....there are 19 days left in the cycle ....and the best periods for the markets is Nov - April I have confidence that the portfolio will do well !.

Pete, took the plunge today into the Bromine that is GRUS. Sold some underperformeds and some barely performers and Bought 3K this morning.

Well futures are DOWN as I write , so caution is advised. The dollar rose yesterday, and Gold Oil and Equities dropped......what can I say? .....PRAY the dollar continues its downward descent !

1. APT LONG Technology
2. CQP LONG Energy stock with beautiful chart
3. GRUS LONG Bromine KING Joins the Nasdaq Today . What happens is anyones guess. HOPEFULLY It will shoot up! New name will be GFRE , same name it had before the 1:4 reverse split.
4. NXTH LONG This stock is UNCANNY ....UP 23 days in the row .. will today be 24. It manages to go up about 3% per day. Yes it is pumped with mailers by Charles Payne of CNBC Business!

LUCKY 7 For 10/29/09

"Lucky 7 " and I use that term rather loosely. Charles Payne CNC Business analyst was on The Imus radio show and said he took a beating in the markets the past few days....and this guy is supposedly an EXPERT! I wonder if he loaded up on NXTH and got caught in that dive LOL? Oh well for today we have some balanced picks. 4 ETFS that short various markets and 3 LONG equity picks that have just hit 52 week highs !

1. CMD LONG An ETF that Actually SHORTS the commodity markets
2. ERY LONG Direxion ETF that Triple Shorts the energy markets
3. GLL LONG Pro shares Ultra Short Gold . The "Cycle Profit' predicts gold will trend DOWN until about 11/14/09 . REMEMBER this will not be a straight path down. Today gold futures ae slightly UP!
4. NLC LONG Nalco holdings
5. WBC LONG
6. PMTC LONG Tech stock with nice chart!
7. ZSL LONG Ultra short silver

Exercise caution ....remember 10/29/29 was a brutal day in stock history .....and that is TODAY! Hopefully we will not have a repetition.

things are kinda quiet here lately. I guess everyone is getting beat up by the shorts like myself. well i look at it this way. I'm able to get in on stocks that were way to expensive. I missed HGSI. I was looking at that on friday but was unsure. i should of went with my gut. i got in one AONE at $18.65. that has been all over the place.
Palm needs to get a new phone. The pre is nice but doesn't have full capabilities of the web. I agree that it will go down but not fade away. C is almost a buy again. GNW is taking a beating too
