Cup w/ Handles

What do you all think about AAPL right now? Looks like it could be forming the right side of a cup? It's sitting at it's 100 SMA right now, but if it gets past that, there's really no more resistance.

My theory is that it will continue forming the cup formation, which will take maybe a month and a half to finish. It will start forming its handle after that, at which point Apple will announce the release of the new and improved iphone. Then, the stock will take off.

Anyone else agree with me?

Don't know if it take off or not...we mentioned the formation on Sunday

In my old age and forgetfulness I looked up SEED instead and thought "what does Ski see in this stock?" Then I checked out FEED and it looks real good. Maybe I'll buy it and beat the rush. Thanks Ski!

i like it alot myself and will be looking for an entry this week. i'm also looking at it as a longer term hold. glad you liked it. believe it or not i look at you as a gauge of the worthiness of fundamentally strong stocks because i know your record and how frugal and thoughtful you are about letting your money out of your wallet for these investments. so when you say you're considering a buy i take that as nearly money in the bank.

I've noticed that you are noticing more charts where the cups are in the process of making their right sides. perhaps you should start a thread called something to do with making the right side of the cup. here is one for you that I am playing in this weeks potw if there is a potw this week.
