thanks for noting that doug. i missed it. now i'm on the 6% fence and you're comfortably off of it. that's what i get for opening my mouth.
river, sorry babe but your stopped out and no picks left this week. use this time to study hard for next weeks game. this stop rule and the one pick per week certainly changes everything. i kind of like it. i'm sitting right on the fence at -5.95% and could be with you tomorrow morning.

I guess I got stopped out, too, at -15% or so. (The number is too bad to even look it up for you).

newborn, you're stopped out. i made a mistake and put the "stopped out" designation in his slot instead of yours. you're out and so am i this morning. i'll make the change tonite.

I thought you're only out if your pick closes <= 6%, in which case you can still recover, right?

Rob, did you orchestrate that whole scenario this afternoon. as soon as you posted earlier it started back up and propped me up and gave me hope just to pull the rug out from under me at the end. i red and stopped out. no cee-gar.

a bad week for the greenies. more players stopped out than there are in the green. just goes to show you what a reasonable stop loss will do. make those picks count.

Uh oh ... I guess you found me out. Yeah, as long as the cat's outta the bag anyway, I also single-handedly caused the dot com bust in 2000 and the sub-prime debacle of 2008.

that's real power Rob and even moreso is that you are still one left in the game and in 3rd place to boot. powerful.

I kinda like this 6% stop out rule. It keeps River from coming back and eating my lunch.

Ummm...I'd be happy to score for POTW when skiracer has had enough....I've done it anyway since I found this forum....I score more like Jiesen did with the ability to close positions....I'll attach the chart I made for this week's entries....I know I don't officially play here, but I do play along privately using recommendations posted here....

Hags, that would be an honorable and commendable thing on your part. i took it back after jiesen only because no one else stepped up and i didn't want to see the streak of consequtive weeks and longevity of the potw broken. I really don't have the time or the desire to keep the score so you can assume the scorekeeping duties beginning after todays close and this weeks contest. i see that you have the scorecard under control and you might as well take the reins right as of todays close.
the scorekeeper has that right to make the rules and to do whatever he wants to do in that direction. you might want to go back to the beginning of this thread and read the rules i made initially or go to the beginning of jiesens stint and read his rules. then do whatever you want to do as far as the rules are concerned.
do what you want to do as far as how you want to set it up regarding the rules. forget that you are a newcomer and haven't been here that long or participated that much. people that have been here for years and have never volunteered don't care enough to step up so don't be intimidated by being new or running it as you see fit. I applaud you. if anybody that doesn't like what you implement has something to say tell them they can do what they want when they can exhibit the fortitude to step up and volunteer to run it for awhile. you'll see exactly where they are at on that front. good luck and you have gained my respect for whatever that's worth.
