Wasn't around much today...lost 3 cents a sh on AU, caught IPAR for 1.11 sh on the guidance and sold NGEN at 4.59 and 4.60...lucked out on that one with the news...IIC

NGEN was just luck on the news...I thought it was gonna be a flat base b/o last week but it pulled back...but of course I've always said that I'd rather be lucky than good.

IPAR...I just happened to be watching the news when I saw the guidance come out...I often do that when nothing's going on w/ my lists.

The problem is that I cannot post trades in R/T everywhere. I think forums are best for posting watclists, ideas and questions...Real Time stuff is best left to chatrooms and IM's...IIC

I'll answer that...It stands for Instant message.

Yes...that's correct re: IM.

During my DT experiment...I found that the most successful trades overall were news based. Not the pre-m ones, but the ones I caught during the day.

If you have the time and the patience, you can watch news...like Dow Jones...you can also watch your Day's High streamer to see which one's are on the move right now and flip over to news.

Have your streamer and your buy confirm screen set up before hand...when you see a newsbreak enter the ticker in immediately on the 1 min chart...You can buy within 10-30 secs in most cases...immediately set up your sell confirm screen...Unfortunately I didn't track the ones I caught this way specifically...but I am sure I made $$$ on over 75% of them...and when I lost...it was never really a hi % loss. I had one the other day that was up 60 c within a min after I bot...but 2 mins later I sld for a 20 c loss...but that was unusual. If a stock ran up a few bux and I caught 50 c or more of it I was a happy camper...even when it went much higher...IIC
