      Held over ASKJ...Unfortunately, I didn't get out of NGEN from yesterday...down .19 sh on the avg buy...but overall a very nice day.

            DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY


            Valero Marketing and Supply Co., San Antonio, Texas, is being awarded a $103,331,200 fixed price with economic price adjustment type contract for fuel for the government of Israel. Performance completion date is expected to be December 31, 2005. Contract funds will expire at end of current fiscal year. There were eight proposals solicited and two responded. The contracting activity is the Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va. (SP0600-05-D-0453).



            ARMY



            Hensel Phelps Construction Co., Austin, Texas, was awarded on Nov. 22, 2004, an $84,276,830 firm-fixed-price contract for design, construction, renovation, and alteration projects. Work will be performed at Fort Hood, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Feb. 25, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 25 bids solicited on Aug. 24, 2004, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Engineer District, Fort Worth, Texas, is the contracting activity (W9126G-05-C-0001).



            Raytheon Co., Tucson, Ariz., was awarded on Nov. 23, 2004, a $24,500,000 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for 500 TOW 2B AERO GEN 2 Missiles. Work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by Aug. 31, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on July 15, 2002. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W31P4Q-04-C-0061).



            John C. Grimberg Co. Inc., Rockville, Md., was awarded on Nov. 22, 2004, an $8,915,000 firm-fixed-price contract for Renovation of Conmy Hall. Work will be performed at Fort Myer, Va., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 15, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 172 bids solicited on July 23, 2004, and six bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore, Md., is the contracting activity (W912DR-05-C-0003).



            Oshkosh Truck Corp., Oshkosh, Wis., was awarded on Nov. 22, 2004, an $8,460,000 modification of a firm-fixed-price contract for purchase of additional 100,000 hours of functional technical support to assist in installation of Armor Crew Protection and Air Conditioner Kits. Work will be performed in Oshkosh, Wis., and is expected to be completed by May 31, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Nov. 5, 2004. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (W56HZV-04-C-0323).



            Oshkosh Truck Corp., Oshkosh, Wis., was awarded on Nov. 22, 2004, a $6,077,053 modification of a firm-fixed-price contract for 5,907 Man Days of Field Service Representative Support for the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle. Work will be performed in Oshkosh, Wis., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Jan. 22, 2004. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (W56HZV-04-C-0221).



            GSE Dynamics Inc.*, Hauppauge, N.Y., was awarded on Nov. 23, 2004, a $5,431,860 firm-fixed-price contract for 567 Rear Assembly Headers with M1 Vehicle Application. Work will be performed in Hauppauge, N.Y., and is expected to be completed by Jan. 26, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Aug. 11, 2004, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (W56HZV-05-C-006.



            NAVY



            BAE Systems Applied Technologies Inc., Rockville, Md., is being awarded a $62,184,430 cost-plus-fixed-fee, incentive-fee and award-fee, level of effort contract to provide for System Integration Support for the TRIDENT I (C4) and TRIDENT II (D5) Fleet Ballistic Missile Programs in implementing interface control programs and performing special technical investigations such as the following: (1) modify and update system test procedures and plan for and participate in Strategic Weapon System testing during submarine overhaul, refit and backfit; (2) perform configuration management and alteration control via documentation, drawings and technical manuals; (3) provide logistics, engineering and material control support; (4) provide planning and monitoring support in ensuring compliance with the U.S. Navyรขโ‚ฌโ„ขs portion of the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (START); and (5) provide maintenance support data system installation and support for the Strategic Weapon System, including materials. The contract also contains effort for Tomahawk Land Attack Missile-Nuclear (TLAM-N) Support and Advanced Systems Studies. Work will be performed in Rockville, Md., and is expected to be completed by September 2005. Contract funds in the amount of $38,963,072 will expired at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was not competitively procured. The Navyรขโ‚ฌโ„ขs Strategic Systems Programs, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00030-05-C-0022).



            Raytheon Technical Services Co., Indianapolis, Ind., is being awarded an undefinitized contract action with a not-to-exceed value of $8,000,000 for the procurement of eight SHAred Reconnaissance Pods (SHARP) for the F/A-18E/F aircraft. Work will be performed in Yeovil, United Kingdom (27 percent); Camden, N.J. (18 percent); Indianapolis, Ind. (11 percent); Logan, Utah (10 percent); Clearwater, Fla. (6 percent); Danbury, Conn. (6 percent); Albuquerque, N.M. (6 percent); Dallas, Texas (6 percent); Marion, Va. (4 percent); Brea, Calif. (2 percent); Grand Rapids, Mich. (2 percent); and Anaheim, Calif. (2 percent), and is expected to be completed in May 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-05-C-0009).



            Raytheon Systems d/b/a Raytheon Systems Co., Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $6,131,670 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-04-C-0006) to provide engineering and logistics sustaining support for the AIM-9X Lot 5 (Fiscal Year 2005) U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force Follow-on Test and Evaluation Program. Work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz., and is expected to be completed in November 2005. Contract funds in the amount of $1,885,390 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity.

                    Sorry...I always forget to look at the heading...well, the patent news was announced a couple of days ago...looked like it was going to be a flat base breakout. I'll watch it closely on Friday...Might just take my lumps. Overall, I have had an excellent week this week...so one big loser won't kill me...Best, IIC
