UTStarcom Inc. - UPDATE - Climbing Higher On Contract News [UTSI]
1/19/2005 9:20:50 AM We alerted readers at 9:05 that UTStarcom Inc. (UTSI) had signed contracts valued at approximately $40 million with China Netcom Group to expand the operator's existing IP-based PAS networks. The company also signed contracts valued at approximately $120 million with China Telecom Corporation to expand the operator's existing IP-based PAS networks. The stock is now up 0.75 on 27K shares Wednesday morning on Instinet.
