A bit red today...Early I went for TRID +.36 NTRI -.13(I have to be the only person in the world who lost on it) and the killer CTTY -.50.

Late I caught TRID +.50(Woulda been better off just holding it all day) and lost .22 on JLG.

Doug why would they send you a warning letter ?

I don't recall saying I ever got a warning letter. However I was contacted by them last year...We came to an agreement which we both agreed to keep confidential...They've kept up their end of of the bargain...And unless they violate that...I will keep up my end of the bargain...I consider myself an "Ethical" Guy.

But...I am still entitled to voice my opinion...Which I frequently do.

As far as Webs...I'd like to hear the story...I get emails from quite a few lately that have heard from IBD for one reason or another. Of course, I keep them all confidential...If you would like to send me the details...or anyone else for that matter...My personal email addy is [email protected].

I will give my opinion...But I will not give legal advice...Even though I think I know more about the law regarding this stuff than most lawyers...I don't have that piece of paper that says I passed the Bar.

The week turned out pretty good...even though I don't seem to be too accurate in calling the market direction lately...Traded ITWO for an avg +.95sh this morn(Of course it kept going) and SWB -.15...shoot!!!...LOL

Problem is that their EPS announcements are so confusing that nobody understands them...GAAP this...Non GAAP that...This counts...this doesn't...We are the best...no one comes close...We bought this...We sold that...Everyone needs us...Blah Blah Blah

Doug, on Mr. B, you've been waiting for a pullback the last couple of weeks or so, and common sense would support that. Yet the market keeps going up. Do you see a "wall of worry" thing going on, where people are afraid to be left behind?

Wall of Worry...apparently there is not enough worry??? However, I still believe it is just a matter of time...I'm not predicting a crash or anything...just a healthy pullback. It took 7 tries to bust thru 2100 this year...now we are trying 2200. Generally you would look for a big p/b when everyone is euphoric...that doesn't seem to be the case as far as I know....In fact, I sense "Dis-Interest" in the markets generally right now.

It seems that there really is not a whole lot of conviction here. Yes, vol was OK this past week...but almost +6% on the Naz in July and the monthly volume was the lowest since September '04...same on the NYSE...You could say that there was a holiday...but we were lower on the vol than last July too. The 100 DJ Groups have been declining on the A/D/U too...This week we were led by TIRES...that doesn't thrill me much...Although this new Telcomm deal could be good.

Seems kinda Ho Humm to me...which actually suits me fine for DT'ing. Not that the market cares...but I'd like to see a nice summer pullback and then a run from Mid October to the end of the year...I can envision 2350+ by December on the Naz....Best, Doug(IIC)
