This is an ema Ribbon chart for the Naz Bullish Percent Index(BPI)...At least that's what I call it.

Notice how there are large moves when the ribbon appears to turn over...compare that to the Naz Composite. Nothing's perfect, but the BPI is one of my fave market direction indicators.

When the 10sma crossed the 50sma early last week(see a couple of posts ago right here for Friday's chart I posted...I became extremely cautious. Also the Nas 20 ema was at about 2278 pre-m today...we peeked through it but I'd say that are provides at least medium resistance...Doug(IIC)

Anheuser-Busch Upped To Peer Perform At Bear Stearns >BUD
Bear Stearns upgraded brewer Anheuser-Busch Co. (BUD), which makes Budweiser and Bud Light beer, to peer perform from underperform.

The broker said it is encouraged by recent brand acquisitions and positive volume trends.

Bear Stearns said it has seen a positive reaction to Anheuser-Busch's Budweiser Select brand, and added the recently inked deals to import Asia Pacific Breweries Ltd.'s flagship Tiger Beer, among others, will help support volume and pricing during a period of relatively weak pricing for domestic brands.

Geez...I'm out all day and somebody lets the Naz blow out resistance(2279ish)...Well, I don't know about it being a blow out but I'm a tad surprised...We close at about next level resistance which I had pegged at 2294 last night. Some say the 10 yr Note Yield was the cause...If so, I'd say it may be a short-lived move...although strongest resistance is about 2332 the high level of the range we've been in for the past 2 months. But my overall intermediate term outlook is bearish.
