Noticed that there are a heck of a lot of guests viewing this thread today...I attribute that to possibly Toby posting at the forum.

Don't worry IBD...I don't post your proprietary stuff...I have plenty of other resources for my stock picking

The Naz Comp seems to be hitting some minor resistance here...But I would not expect any significant pull back till about the 2425 area

Overall we have 22 Green positions and 23 Red positions. While doing this it dawned on me that these results are badly skewed since so there were so many appearances consecutively by SWHC EZPW and especially HANS almost continuously from Sept. '05 -- May '06.

I suggest if you invest in IIC's #1 picks and use stops, you'll do well. Then you can donate some of the gains to Doug's legal defense fund for when IBD comes after him. He may not need it if he's put enough to hold off Wm.O'Neil's goons for 10 years or so.

Billy...What are you doing "Chopping Down The IIC Beanstalk"...LOL

It is what it is though The IIC is not a list of recommendations...it is simply a list of stocks that meet the parameters I set up back in October 2004.

What I'd be more interested in is the price a stock was at when it became number 1 and the price it was at when it dropped off from being number 1...It wouldn't be hard for me to figure it out but I will wait till the weekend to do it.

Why would I need a legal defense fund?...All I do is ask questions.

                      Doug,
The initial price is the opening price on the day you posted it as #1 or the opening price on the first day it traded after your listing had it been on a Saturday or Sunday.

LOL...I can't help it if I ask "pointed" questions.

Anyway, here is how I would do it:

I would take the opening price on the Monday (or first trading day) after a stock became number 1. Then I would use the opening price on the Monday (or first trading day) after a stock dropped from being number one. Some people would use the Friday close, but I don't think that is fair because nobody would know if a stock dropped off till after the market closed on Friday. Actually, I could run the scan and post it a couple of minutes before the market closed on Friday since my source is R/T...All I would miss is any after hours eps announcements or projection changes...And those are rare on Friday A/H. But since I don't do that I think I'd use the Monday openings for this exercise.

It also is probably next to worthless to use the lists back when I only ran them once a month. Too much could have happened in that time frame...A lot can happen in just a week too but I'm not gonna run the scan everyday.

                          Here are some examples:

                          HANS...(split adjusted) #1 on 9/12/05 at 12.33. Dropped off on 5/15/06 at 42.97

Edit: I had to leave so now I'll continue.

                          So HANS was +248.5%

There were two other times HANS was number 1 but it was red both times

                          Take SWHC...# 1 on 9/11/06 at 10.33...dropped on 10/9/06 at 13.92...that is +34.8%.

                          SWHC became # 1 again on 10/16 at 12.92...dropped off on 10/23 at 13.80...That was +6.8%

I'll do this over the weekend...Doug

                              MoMo

FYI...For newbies...My daily MoMo list is of stocks in the Top 5% of my Relative Strength (RS) Database of 5500 equities that closed up 2% or more on at least 1.5x Average Daily Volume.

My RS numbers may not match others exactly because we may have a different number of stocks in our databases, I use RS ratings from 1-100 and we probably treat IPO's differently...But since the formula is pretty basic they should be close...Doug(IIC)
