I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Nice play this week Peanuts, congrats to the other winners Wooish and John Henry. Ody, if you made that for me I'd supply all the beer you could drink.
It was actually pretty easy to make, I may have to take you up on that
Ody, if you get a chance please check my entry. the scorecard has it at $15.76 at the open but i think the entry time according to the potw was at 9:32 at 15.72. whatever your call is will be fine but please take a look when you have time.
BesV snags the gold on a great double digit return, shorting CHLN ! Well done sir ! Guessing the housing market in China is doing as well as ours China Housing & Land Development, Inc. (China Housing), incorporated on July 6, 2004, is a real estate development company. Through its subsidiaries, Tsining Housing Development Co., Ltd (Tsining), New Land Development Co., Ltd. Peanuts grabs his 3rd silver this week on 2 trades, both going his way nicely, shorting AAPL after taking advantage of CLNE's nice runup. What made you go with this? Thinking that the BP situation made people look toward alternative fuel investing? Also I noticed this: Clean Energy Fuels Corp. is a provider of natural gas as an alternative fuel for vehicle fleets in the United States and Canada. The Company designs, builds, finances and operates fueling stations and supplies its customers with compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquefied natural gas (LNG).
Apple Inc. (Apple) designs, manufactures, and markets personal computers, mobile communication devices, and portable digital music and video players, and sells a variety of related software, services, peripherals, and networking solutions.
It wouldn't be a normal week without mentioning Wooish's next hot stock pick, FAS He takes the bronze medal, continuing his huge lead and collection of Medals. AND he made double digit %'s ! Watch out though, Peanuts is close behind with 8 medals compared to Wooish's 11 Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (the Fund), formerly Direxion Financial Bull 3X Shares, seeks daily investment results of 300% of the price performance of the Russell 1000 Financial Services Index (the Financial Index). The Financial Index is a capitalization-weighted index of companies that provide financial services.
Though I'm feeling bullish about this year, I'm guessing this week is going bearish.... good luck out there !
Thanks for the hard work, you've done an excellent job keeping the scores so we can have a little fun.
Wow lots of competitions here this week with BesV and Peanuts scoring huge. Great job guys!
I personally short FAS with real $$$ last week so it was great for me. I think the market will be chaotic this coming week (DOW futures is down over 100 points as I type), if S&P breaks below 1040 tomorrow which is very possible or Tuesday we might see it in triple digit soon. Good luck to all.
thnx Ody..thnx guys and Wooish thnx but I think the "competition" is not really a threat to your results and amazing picks
I would be more than happy just to get back in the green within 2 months in this competion..
Great job Ody and congrats to the winners!

Congrats to the greenies and another great job by Ody!
I chose CLNE because it was a depressed stock in an industry which I thought would receive some attention last week due to the oil disaster in the Gulf. I shorted AAPL based on market turmoil and price action.
This week, I'd like to start in ABBlong, please and thank you
I am choosing this stock because it too is a depressed stock in an industry that might see a boost this week. I also think that it has being taken lower because it is headquartered in Europe, and there are fears surrounding the Euro. However, the business that they do is worldwide, so the currency mix in their revenues should negate any positive or negative effect of the Euro. It's a good company and its stock is cheap.
