What a great week ! Congrats to everyone ! Peanuts may have walked away a little lighter, but overall everyone picked a winner. And welcome aboard Deaddog !

Rob takes the Gold this week on Google's shoulders, riding the stock up for an impressive +11% gain. Well done ! I don't know why but it's always hard for me to see an already expensive stock gaining so much per share, but it's all in the percentages.
Google Inc. maintains an index of Websites and other online content, and makes this information freely available through its search engine to anyone with an Internet connection. Its automated search technology helps people obtain nearly instant access to relevant information from its online index.

BesV followed up with BIOS, snagging the Silver and a solid +8% gain. Not only that, he now passed the double digit mark in the medal department. Congrats !
BioScrip, Inc. is a specialty pharmaceutical healthcare organization that partners with patients, physicians, healthcare payors and pharmaceutical manufacturers to provide access to medications and management solutions to optimize outcomes for chronic and other complex healthcare conditions. The Company operates in two business segments: Specialty Pharmacy Services and Traditional Pharmacy Services.

And JohnHenry pulled an amazing trick out of his hat, going long on BORN for a nice +7%, then SHORTING the same stock to pull in another ~6% ! That was a well earned Bronze medal, as his final pick C took away most of his short gains. Well played sir !
China New Borun Corporation (New Borun) is a producer and distributor of corn-based edible alcohol in the People's Republic of China based on tons of edible alcohol produced. The Company’s edible alcohol products are primarily sold as an ingredient to producers of baijiu, who further blend the Company’s products into finished products sold under various brand names throughout China.
Citigroup Inc. (Citigroup) is a global diversified financial services holding company. The Company provides consumers, corporations, governments and institutions with a range of financial products and services. Odysses:

Not quite sure of the rules. Is my position deemed to be sold at the end of the week or do I have to advise you when I want to sell?
If I buy something else is my first position automatically disposed of?

Interesting contest; thanks for taking the time to put it together.

Yes, the pick closes at the end of the week.

And yes, you can choose up to 2 more stocks to pick during the week, but you can only have 1 stock purchased at any time. So if you do make a 2nd pick, your 1st one is closed. As well, you can go to cash on your 3rd pick, or pick a 3rd stock. If you go with the 3rd stock option, you cannot make any more trades that week. You will hold your 3rd pick to Friday's close.

And thank you, but I just picked up from where someone left off The PoTW contest was founded by BillyJoe and I'm just the torch bearer at the moment. Good fun, and always nice to see what other people are thinking and trading.

                        Oh, and welcome aboard !

Good short but could go either way because there's a golden cross on the chart.
I like high risk pick, low risk leads to low return.
